The positives; The location is fantastic! It’s walking distance to all the sites and museums. There are good food choice near by. The underground parking lot was easy to use. The building it self is nice and very safe. The Negatives; The unit its self is well worn. Poor furniture and stains. The bed linen were still in the dryer. We needed to take it out for our bedding. The kitchen had a few items, but poorly supplied. It wouldn’t be possible to cook a meal. The dishwasher was broken. It was reported the first day we were there for our 3 night stay. I was told it would addressed immediately. When I would check in to see if it would be. I would be told soon. It was never fixed. I had to use wash clothes to clean our dishes. Very disappointing customer service.

The location is nice and the home is also nice. However, there were several issues and the host was extremely slow to respond. On day 1 of a 5 day stay, I reached out to report the living room TV did not work, the kitchen lights did not work, the outdoor lights did not work, the garbage disposal did not work and several outlets in the kitchen did not work. I received an auto reply and was informed someone would check on items. On day four of my stay (I was there for 5 days) a maintenance person went by and was unable to fix anything. I reached out several times during my stay and was told it was being escalated. Overall, it made for a bad experience. I have never experienced so many issues and such unresponsive service with an airbnb rental before.

This property needs repair. Water leaks we reported. Obvious mold in three places. Bathroom door handle broke. Drawer in refrigerator broke.

If you are looking for a true Asheville experience, look somewhere else. While technically in Asheville, the home is located directly off of a busy road, on the second floor of a window detailing business that is open from 7-7, and is directly across from a PVC pipe manufacturing plant that operates 24/7. The area overall is not walkable, noisy and smelly from the plant across the street, and difiiculy to access. Additionally, the only way to enter the home is via a flight of poorly constructed concrete stairs; difficult for those with physical limitations. The bathing situation is also less than ideal with claw foot tubs requiring guests to high step into a wet area. Finally, this is not a local home. It is manged by a corporation in California. As a result, the communication is out-of-touch and does not reflect what Asheville represents. I travel to Asheville at least six times a year and will not be staying here again.

Wouldn't stay here again if it were free. House was poorly maintained and completely infested with roaches and other bugs. Numerous roaches walking the walls and over the dishes and countertops in the middle of the day. Reached out to the host at 8 am the morning after we checked in, after a series of slow or no replies I went to Home Depot and treated the house myself the middle of the following day. Literally hundreds of dead cockroaches, while the problem was improved we still had an infestation for the rest of the trip. The house is poorly maintained, towel bar laying in floor when we showed up, fan in second bedroom was unbalanced and so loud it couldn't be used at night, rickety bunk bed, buildup of bird feces that clearly hadn't been cleaned off the porch for months (just to name a few). Owner should be ashamed offering the unit in this condition.

Pros: Beautiful location, great setup for large group Cons: Foundation sinking and unsafe - all floors tilted, doors don't fit, sizeable amt of sand coating all exterior surfaces and furniture upon arrival - never cleaned, all interior floors sandy, broken bed on first night of use, broken keurig, broken wi-fi that we were expected to reprogram, host asked us to troubleshoot everything without any regard for personal time, never offered any compensation. We don't mind paying for location but expect a safe and clean environment with working amenities. Would not recommend or return.

The place is old and not kept well. It’s lacking in basics. For a house that sleeps 20 people, there is one tiny skillet and one medium skillet. Both of them are in horrible condition. We had to make our meals in batches. There is no broom or mop. We were on hands and knees cleaning the floors. There is not sufficient seating inside the house for 20 or even 10! While we were enjoying the pool a gust of wind came and blew all of the pool umbrellas away. One of them hit me and injured my leg. We had to chase the umbrellas as they were flying around in the wind. We saved them from crashing into the house causing further damage and risking harm to ourselves. The host charged me for the damaged umbrellas! I did nothing to cause their damage! And I saved more damage from happening AND got injured in the process! Terrible hosts! Do not stay here. it’s over priced, dark and old. The host is a scammer who will charge you for something that is not your fault

RECOMMEND NOT BOOKING THIS AIR BNB if you value your safety or have small children, it is nowhere near worth the money and your safety/comfortability will be compromised the entire time. This air bnb is the definition of FALSE ADVERTISING. The ad describes the property as *ENTIRE HOME* but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There are actually multiple units, and ours happened to be on the bottom floor with a unit directly above and next to us (walls are extremely thin, you can hear every footstep and every single night it sounded like someone was rearranging furniture from 10:00pm-1:00am). It’s also listed as “no pets allowed” but has permanent residents who block off communal areas and doors/windows to YOUR UNIT to leave large aggressive dogs outside and barking. You cannot open any windows, enter or exit the unit or property comfortably, all because there could potentially be a large dog waiting to lunge at you. I hope this review saves other families time, money and discomfort

Honestly a horrible stay. Booked this cabin for the hot tub and couldn’t use it due to an excessive nasty smell, water was so dirty you couldn’t seee the bottom, and chunks of mildew were coming out of the air jets and tub was leaking. In the cabin the whirlpool tub was inoperable, curtains had mildew, and window curtains were so filthy they were no longer white they were grey. Horrible nasty stay

I’m not usually one to leave a review regarding a place, but this needed to be brought to the light for future guest. There was no WiFi at the home, and they knew this before we stayed but did not tell anyone until after the fact. A tech couldn’t come out until 6/6/26. The hot water heater broke, and it wasn’t until the next day that they came out- even though the hot water broke at 1:00 the day before mid afternoon. I had to call over and over for them to address the situation. Floors were dirty. The place wasn’t clean. I wouldn’t stay here.
