“Staying at the A frame was a delight. We used the hot tub constantly and really enjoyed curling up with a movie in the evenings. The location is great, and although the A frames are all close to each other, privacy screens on the back porch made them feel super private. The area is heavily wooded and very pretty. Communication was great, and check out was easy. Beds were okay - not great, not terrible. When we arrived, our hot water was broken, which was frustrating, but they fixed it promptly the next morning. Two minor complaints: the listing said there was a gas grill, but the grill is charcoal, so we could not use it. There also is no good way to unpack - no drawers anywhere, just a handful of hangers on a very high shelf, which made the rooms fairly cluttered. Even a small dresser would make a big difference.”

“Very responsive host but wouldn’t stay again. On the booking it shows a sauna but you had to rent out for $100 an HOUR (why show this as one of the booking pictures). The mini fridge had an odor and the light in the front of the place didn’t turn on. Also, I asked for an hour later check (noon instead of 11am) and was declined, you’d think for a $1000 two night stay they would approve this….”

“Last review said they would address the cleanliness problem but have not. Response time for owner messaging back was good and they fixed the hot tub the next day. However, they own a lot properties so they should be able to afford to maintain this house better. Bedroom fan in the bedroom that is closest to main door to outside, gets the most sun & does not have a remote like the other room with the same fan. I either woke up to being too hot or sun in my eyes and when I told owner I want to have only fan or only light on they replied that the light and the fan are “hardwired together” and no solution was provided. Definitely can’t sleep with the door closed, so more sun and less privacy. The main door doesn’t lock easily so it should be fixed and have some blinds to cover huge window part of door. It’s the egg smelling water so bring bottled water and ice. It’s that water that feels like you didn’t rinse off fully in the shower. Bring your own pillows. Not worth the price paid.”
