“The place at sunset is magic. The location is great and the check in was smooth. Beds were great. The place itself is pretty dated and the heating was finicky for sure. The blinds don’t exist in the master and are not great in the other room. For our toddler we brought a black out travel curtain which worked great”

“I had been a bit nervous to stay based on the older reviews, but honestly, our stay was lovely! We were there for 1.5 weeks. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The views are spectacular. It was such a cute cottage and worked perfectly for us. There is a great off-leash park just 5 min away that also has wine, pie and cheese. Check it out!”

“Lovely, lovely house. It’s as good as the photos or more. We just wanted to stay here and enjoy the quiet beauty. Quietest place we have every stayed. Porch and surroundings are lovely, like out of a movie set. Beautiful mornings, sunsets, and anytime in between! Calm and peaceful. Go out on the porch, bring a book, and enjoy. We even had a bald eagle visit. Parking our beast of a rental car (Cadillac Escalade) was doable but a challenge in the available parking spot on the side of the hill above the building. Careful on the steps down, especially with luggage or groceries. Those steps to the beach are as advertised: steep. Also solid. An adventure for exploring the beach.”

“We didn't want to leave. It was a beautiful setting. There is a little effort to get to and from the beach. We counted 150 stairs. Great place to stay.”
