AvantStay in Isle Of Palms, South Carolina

“The pictures are from at least 10 years ago. The location is amazing as were the views. Unfortunately that’s all this house has besides a lot of rooms. The entrance is overgrown as is the whole property. The floors were dirty and the dishes were filthy. The door to the roof area is rotted and the hallway smells moldy. The roof area needs to be washed and redone. Ripped cushions in all of the seating areas need to be replaced. I was very surprised when they had a dishwasher installed during our stay when I have 2 German Shepherd’s. I asked for a more detailed time so one of us could be there but that never happened. We had to change our plans because of this. We were all very disappointed with our stay.”

“We have a wonderful stay here for for my sister’s bachelorette party! We loved how much space there was to sit together on the couch and at the table. It was beautiful and clean and a wonderful stay!”

“We were very disappointed with our stay. The pool area lights did not work the entire time, making the pool unusable after dark. We called the emergency contact, and someone came the next day, but nothing was fixed. We also had to buy our own soap, shampoo, and detergent because the provided supplies were insufficient. After our vacation, AvantStay took almost two weeks to respond and offered only a $100 refund. Instead of a relaxing vacation, we spent time dealing with problems. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others. A cheaper property without a pool would have been a better choice.”
