“We arrived and saw a bear within the first hour. Getting inside and unpacked was a breeze using the instructions provided. The home is located at the end of the road at the top of the mountain. It is very secluded other than the next cabin down which you can see from the deck. This was not an issue as their decks are located on the opposite side and we couldn’t see or hear anything. We were worried about the large tank located very close to this home, as seen in the pics. This also was not an issue and we barely noticed it. The home was very spacious and my kids really enjoyed the pool table. We ended up seeing bear(s) every day but 1 and we were there 7 days. We were even greeted by one while enjoying the hot tub. We chose to go inside and give it space. They also found a way to raid the metal trash bin and made a mess. Long story short: If you want to see bear, this is the cabin you want. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We had an amazing stay in the Smokey Mountains near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge at the Aspen Lodge. Excellent amenities and nearby everything the region has to offer. Would look forward to staying again!”

“The cabin was great. The management company didn’t have a baby pack-n-play at the cabin that was promised ahead of arrival, and it took multiple communications to get the item. It was delivered late at night and they did provide a small refund to offset the inconvenience. Internet was very spotty. No drain plug for the bathtubs. No window shades on 2 of 3 windows in each of the upstairs bedrooms.”

“The stay was good overall, but communication could be improved as it would have been highly helpful if the host had responded to our messages. Additionally, for a high-end property at this price point, we expected a much better kitchen setup and a more generous supply of basic household essentials, specifically dishwasher and laundry detergent , trash bags pacs.”
