“The location is nice and the home is also nice. However, there were several issues and the host was extremely slow to respond. On day 1 of a 5 day stay, I reached out to report the living room TV did not work, the kitchen lights did not work, the outdoor lights did not work, the garbage disposal did not work and several outlets in the kitchen did not work. I received an auto reply and was informed someone would check on items. On day four of my stay (I was there for 5 days) a maintenance person went by and was unable to fix anything. I reached out several times during my stay and was told it was being escalated. Overall, it made for a bad experience. I have never experienced so many issues and such unresponsive service with an airbnb rental before.”

“Our 16 people family vacation was a success. This house had an amazing location, only 15 minutes away from the beach and less than 10 min from Walmart and HEB. We loved the houses and the layout but were extremely disappointed with the kitchen supplies. The kitchen supplies is extremely scratched and small which does not sustain to cook for 16 people. There was no cookie sheets, no big pans or mixing bowl. The owners need to stop by to take inventory and really assess this. We had to go out of our way to go to HEB to purchase big pots and pans as well as cookie sheets. We had an issue with a backed up sink in the restroom, baseboard were coming loose, the bunk beds need to be tightened as they squeak so much it doesn’t allow you to get good sleep and the kitchen drain was slow and the garbage disposal never worked. One of the kitchen stove lamps didn’t work and all of the times in the houses were off. We had to try to work around these issues and the one that got resolved was sink.”
