VueStay Vacations By Casago

VueStay Vacations By Casago's guest rating of 4.54 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Ok so I’ve stayed with the company before but this time I’ve had to stay in a home with mold growing on the closet wall in which I was told numerous times that I couldn’t come two hrs early because it needed a deep clean ONLY IF FOLKS were checking out before my arrival in which it was not occupied prior to my arrival but the company insisted on saying it was being so ok cool but if a home is being cleaned shouldn’t mold be spotted to a closet wall and no that I’ve notified the company they have become very much less responsive I WILL NOT return to any of there rentals I will definitely go with another company or private person”

“Horrible. Stay far away! House leaks, smells moldy and like mildew, and the worst of it all was the lack of hot water because the heater kept breaking and after the first fix failed to do anything further about it, failed to communicate or fix the issue and was told we were the last tenants for the season and they will do maintenance then but that there’s nothing they could do or weren’t going to replace the heater. Fighting now for a refund but will escalate further if no action is taken.”

“The apartment was completely disgusting, beds not made, stain on bedding, dirty toilets, no toilet paper, towels in tub dirty one hanging, garbage not taken out and then when we called for a refund they told us that was not an option. We left immediately, completely ruined our first day and had to book a last min hotel. Went to the office, ladies there were pleasant but still waiting to hear from the manager… I stay in ocean city all the time and will never stay at one of these locations again!”

“We purchased travel insurance but given major flood in the area we had to cancel this reservation. Air B and B agreed with the storm event to trigger cancelation, but Vue Stay Vacations did not! We are seeking a refund due to major flood that would not allow us to safely access this property.”

“I had to cancel my reservation due to the nor’easter storm and flooded roads. VueStay did not allow me to cancel. I had to pay full price even though it was dangerous to drive on an island during a major storm.”

“Due to the lack of communication between the host messaging me and the hosts calling me, I ended up getting locked out and stranded at 2am by myself in the middle of a Nor'easter storm. I received the new code at 3am after I had already left to find another place to stay. All of my necessary medication, laptop, clothes, and all other belongings were left inside. Horrible and terrifying experience!!!”

“Our trip was scheduled for 4 days during the September 2026 nor’ Easter. All travel was restricted, roads were under water, cars were getting flooded, winds were over 50mph and the oceans calling music festival was cancelled. We were unable to reach our destination safely. They refused to even consider a refund. After I communicated with Airbnb they refused to even respond via phone, text, or Airbnb chat messaging. When lots of other hotels and rentals had compassion this company showed how little they cared for their guests. I will never rent from this company again. Charged 4 days of full rental/service and wouldn’t even refund the cleaning fee for a residence we never made it to. Shameful and truly unacceptable. Do not rent from this company.”

“There was a state of emergency and no one could get on or off the island. The host and Airbnb would not refund ANY money.”

“Our stay at this Vuestay property in Wisconsin Dells was disappointing due to the room’s condition and the difficulty resolving the issues. The adjoining door was damaged and bolted shut with a small metal bar. The light fixture cover was burned or badly discolored, and the room smelled old and musty. It did not feel clean, comfortable, or safe. It took considerable time to reach someone locally. We were told no other room was available, but that we would receive a full refund if we left. We did not stay, we checked out and found cleaner, safer accommodations. Nearly two weeks later, we still have not received the promised refund. Airbnb customer service hasn’t been the easiest to work with, involving several representatives, late-night messages, and even a missed call at 11:30 p.m. Lesson learned, keep all communication in the Airbnb app rather than texting the host, so there is a clear record.”

“This whole experience was a mess, including the Nor’easter ruining the vacation, but it was made infinitely worse by VueStay. 1. The unit was apparently sold to VueStay after we booked it. This lead to hours of phone calls figuring out the details. Customer support sounds like it’s overseas and isn’t able to help. 2. Even though I had purchased it through AirBNB they wanted me to fill out additional paperwork and provide my credit card again. It felt very scammy. I finally had to call them again and it turned out they had all the info they needed. However, the increasing dire messages continued that I needed to send them info. 3. They want you to stop by a different location BEFORE checking in, this location is 62 blocks north of the apartment and would have added another 45 minutes to our trip, for no reason. 4. When the nor’easter cancelled the trip they were totally not helpful and I had to escalate to AirBNB to even get a fraction of my money back. Avoid.”
