I rented this house out for my bridesmaids and they loved it! Notable mentions include the kayaks, fire pit, and how easy it was to walk into town from the home. Very happy it was a part of our wedding weekend and highly recommend this property!

I gave this place 4 stars but it could easily be a 5. Overall, a nice place to stay. You can tell they are working to make your stay more comfortable by adding/replacing things. The pros outweigh the cons. None of the negatives mentioned below would stop us from returning to this house. The pros: good location on the bike trail, private setting with just a bit of road noise, lots of space inside and out, house was clean, wi-fi works great, kitchen was pretty well stocked, comfortable bed, new washer/dryer were a nice surprise, firewood was supplied, charcoal grill was supplied. The cons: microwave should be replaced, refrigerator with ice maker works but could stand to be replaced, no lamps or lighting in the living room (such an easy fix, not sure why they don't have these), DVD player but no remotes to make them work, 10 digit door code is a pain. As always with a rental, bring a good pan, wine glasses, and plan on improvising a bit. It's part of the adventure!

The cabin was very clean and looked newly remodeled. Very cute. The kitchen was well equipped, we like to cook in instead of eating out. The queen mattress was very comfortable though the metal bed frame a little noisy. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating was the situation at the docks. I tried 3 times, before booking, to receive confirmation from VueStay whether the dock would accommodate our boat. I provided make and model (Lund Impact 1875). I'm convinced the exchange was with an AI Bot. Best I got was "you can bring your own boat". We decided to risk it as the location was perfect for us. We had family to visit with in Saynor and in Mercer. The larger of the 2 docks looked aged, 8ft by 4 (at best) L shaped and there was no power source. We had to keep our boat trailered and launch at Manitowish Waters Park which was beautiful. Parking the boat at the cabin was also a challenge with many trees to navigate. Minor inconveniences, still a very nice place to stay.
