This was a fine place for our 3-night stay in Glen Arbor, but I'll likely look elsewhere when I return to the area. Know that booking requires submitting your ID and CC info on a third-party platform. I found they were less responsive to Airbnb messages and I needed to email/call to reach them. The decor feels outdated, but I wouldn't mind as long as other things had been updated; the bed creaks at the slightest movement, the kitchen sink drips unless you adjust the knob just so, and the tub's drain handle is detached. The unit seemed generally clean, but we did share it with many spiders. Lastly, you won't have access to resort facilities as the listed amenities seem to state (no pool/beach club access). Other hosts/listings in The Homestead make this clear. To their credit, the staff arrived quickly to help when we got locked out immediately upon check-in.

Overall, this was a great place to stay in the area! The listing mentions no AC, but only provides one fan , so it can get pretty hot at night for the rooms without moving air. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb that was centrally located for the dunes and stops along M22!

This was a very disappointing Airbnb experience. Upon our arrival the walkway to the unit was torn up in prep for resurfacing. To enter the home , a very long code was required. Unfortunately, we were not able to open the lockbox that contained a key for entry into the home so we always had to use the 10 digit code. ( annoying) Right away we noticed the WiFi was not working. The rental agency (VueStay) provided a different network name and password than the homeowners manual but neither worked. I contacted the rental agency at 4:15 and 8:00. I finally got a response a 11:34 PM but the issue was not resolved. First 2 mornings my family was awakened by the sound of a large concrete trunk and crew pouring concrete on the path to the condo thus locking us into our unit. The foreman made a temporary bridge of 3 unsecured 2x4’s. Very, very unsafe!!! In addition, the Kurig was broken, there were spider webs & bugs, all pots and pans filly & unable to use the TV. Unit needs attention!
