“The location of this house and the pool are certainly the highlights and why my group booked it. These two aspects definitely lived up to expectations- we could walk into town in 10-15 minutes, including coffee shops, bars, the grocery store, marina, beach, etc. That was a huge plus for a bigger group because we didn't need to Uber or drive much. The pool was pretty big for a backyard, and the hot tub was very nice. The rest of the house, however, was a bit disappointing. When we arrived, the smoke alarm was beeping very loudly due to low batteries. We let the host know right away and just got a generic response saying someone would follow up tomorrow, but no one ever did. The bedframe in one of the upstairs bedrooms was broken. Al ot of the bedding (all white) had numerous stains. The fridge had a very bad smell when we got there; not sure why because it was empty. There were also extremely limited cleaning supplies, made it difficult to leave the house clean.”

“We had an amazing time and it was a great place to bring a toddler. Very open, a lot of amenities. Easy access and close to downtown. All fenced in backyard for our dog. Games and lots of towels and some beach chairs. It was an amazing stay. We miss it already!!!”

“Perfect spot for my family of four's getaway for a few days. The location is great -- just a 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants, and maybe 10 minutes to the beach. The place itself is really nice, great natural sun, clean, and good for small kids. We'll definitely look to stay here again for our next trip to New Buffalo!”

“Great location, great area, and awesome backyard! We really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that could have been improved was the cleanliness.”

“1. The only tv in the house is very dated and not intuitive. When we messaged to help make it work, they said they'd get back to us but you never did. It took about 1.5 hours to get the TV to finally work. 2. The internet was not working the first night. Again I messaged and they said they'd get back to me but you never did. I was able to fix it but it shouldn't be on me to do so. 3. When I messaged that we needed additional toilet paper and garbage bags, they said they provided enough and we needed to buy our own. They only provided two extra rolls of toilet paper and two extra garbage bags. For a four night stay - at $1100/night - that is unacceptable. 4. The dishwasher did not work. We ended up having to wash all the dishes by hand. Then the owner showed up without warning to show us how to use it. 5. Overall, the house is pretty dated and is not a good value. Lastly, I shared all of this feedback before posting and never received a response.”
