“Beautiful home, leaking toilet not repaired. They sent repair men, but it was never resolved.From a previous review it was mentioned no ladder to access the dock from the water. Two weeks before check in asked for a ladder since we wanted to be on the lake to swim. Ladder not provided, said we needed to access land from the bank. Sent pictures showing no access from the bank. It was like 4 feet of bulkhead on one side and 4 feet of rock wall on the other side of dock. Felt like whoever was to handle the site wasn’t familiar with the landscape. There was a paddle board available but no fin, so not useable.”

“What a beautiful lake side home!!! The property has stunning views of the lake from all rooms. Very clean and organized. Looks exactly like the listing. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. All amenities needed were provided. Would love to stay here again when visiting Lake Lure.”

“Unfortunately this was not the relaxing weekend getaway we hoped for. The cabin was very dirty upon arrival. The host did send housekeeping after I asked on day two, which we appreciated, but it was difficult to tell anything had been cleaned afterward. Traveling with two babies, I felt like I needed to sanitize everything myself. I understand bugs can be expected in the woods, but we found dead roaches, trash left inside bottles and inside cabinets, and even an old chicken wing tucked into what appeared to be clean towels. There were also no extra sheets available, and despite asking for access to the supply closet, we didn’t receive the code until after our first night. I hate leaving a negative review, but this is information I would have appreciated knowing before booking, especially with small children. The resort amenities were definitely the highlight of our stay and we really enjoyed them. I hope the cleanliness issues are addressed because the property has a lot of potential.”
