“Very clean place and well maintained. Not too far from the Waynesville’s downtown by car. A lot to do (Smoky Mountains, lakes, not far from Asheville). Unfortunately we had to shorten our time there as our dog was sick and we had to go back home. By the way this place is pretty nice if you are traveling with dogs.”

“We love love love this location and cozy, beautiful house. This is our second time staying as the kids all begged to come back to the same house and we want to make it a family tradition. Plenty of space for our two families, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful rec center. This time we did hit one snafu with missing trundle sheets that took awhile for the host to respond and remedy, but in the end it did get fixed and our stay was very enjoyable. We hope to be back next year!”

“The house was great, just like the pictures! Great location and great view out the living room window. The kitchen was well stocked. The only problem we had was they advertised having high speed internet/WIFI. When we arrived the internet was not working. We immediately texted VueStay about the situation. The response we received from them seemed to be a generic, AI generated response. We tried contacting them daily about the problem, still the same generic response. The problem was never corrected. It was a shame, because everything else about the house was perfect.”

“Getting into the home was a bit troublesome. Door lock code didn’t work, but secondary access was provided via key. The key/lock system was cumbersome and took a bit of time to make it work correctly. The key just spun in the lock for a bit before it actually worked. The driveway was very steep and our low vehicles were difficult to park, but we made it work. The house was clean and neat, and provided all amenities as described. TV in living room was a smart TV, but didn’t have all the apps we were looking for but we managed to stream to it to watch what we wanted to. The road leading to the home was recently tarred and stoned, which was not “paved” as described, but we found an alternative way to come and go without having to deal with that road, although it took a little longer to get to the main road. Providing access to the empty garage would have made things a lot easier, but I understand that is up to the owner. Overall, happy with our stay, and good value.”

“Disappointing… We have stayed at Love Lane several times under previous ownership and were excited about this stay, especially considering the renovations inside. It is pretty and the king size bed is a plus. However, the downstairs shower is not functional. We were extremely disappointed in the outside deck which was covered in yard waste, debris and overgrowth that made it unpleasant to sit outside and enjoy the NC weather and Mountain View. Working with this rental company is frustrating due to the inability to have immediate contact to resolve issues. We were told that a local representative would be in touch with us but have yet to hear from anyone. Also, the 10 digit code to unlock the door is excessive and inconvenient. This stay has tarnished our previous, enjoyable memories of Love Lane.”
