“A few things to note: The hot water was so hot - we almost burned ourselves. It may be a good idea to turn down the water heater. The shower faucet dripped when it was off and leaked when the shower was on. The beds were not comfortable. I was not able to sleep in the primary bed with my husband. It was so mushy. We like the location to everything, the creek, etc. Thank you, Paula”

“This is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious home with wonderful lake views. Plenty of room for 6 and very homey. There were limited cooking items in the kitchen such as pots, pans and cooking utensils. There were plenty of plates, cups, flatware linens and towels. This is our annual family boating vacation. After several inquires to the host, VueStay, we found out there is no way to launch your boat, boat launch closed and the boat dock is too shallow to accommodate a boat. VueStay response time was slow and then didn't follow their own cancellation policy so I will not be rebooking with them. We did have a wonderful time, luckily the house was gorgeous.”

“We had a fabulous time at Carroll’s Cabin! The house was clean and well-furnished. We loved the fire pit for making s’mores, the deck overlooking the lake, ping pong table… made some great family memories! We rented a boat and tube for the week and had a blast exploring the chain of lakes. The lake is not super busy which was great and it’s an easy drive to downtown Minocqua for shopping and dining. Would definitely go back!”
