4.73
iTrip's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

My experience with our stay fell far below the standards I have come to expect from an Airbnb rental. From the moment we arrived, it was apparent that the condo had not been properly cleaned or maintained. The worst part was the horrible stench throughout the unit. I had to purchase plug-in fresheners to try and cover it. Did not work, we ended up leaving a night earlier after dealing with the smell for 2-nights. The stovetop and oven were filthy. We couldn't use the oven because it was so dirty that it filled the unit with smoke when we turned it on. Also no smoke alarms went off either when that happened. The dishwasher made a horrible noise and did not clean the dishes well. All appliance looked over 40yrs old. Even the toaster smoked when we used it. The bathrooms presented their own issue, the master bathroom tub was super slippery, there were no hand rails, causing a safety hazard. The other bathroom had no shower curtain. Overall it was a horrible experience.

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. The home is in a nice, less touristy part of the Cape near several beaches, and the layout is family-friendly. However, the property was poorly managed. Before arrival, we received two different entry instructions through a third-party management system, both with incorrect codes. One referenced a lockbox that did not appear to be part of the house. We spent 30 minutes trying to get in before we called the management company and received a different code. The biggest issue was hot water: it ran out after one shower, the host did not respond for over 18 hours, and Airbnb had to get involved. After we were told it was adjusted, it ran out again while I was bathing my toddler. The property is also next to an industrial/materials loading yard with late truck noise, and an outdoor shower door slammed all night during a storm--we barely slept. The yard was overgrown and playground rundown. We left early and would not recommend.

This Airbnb was located in an excellent location, but unfortunately we did not get the room we had seen in the pictures. The floor plan was different (and the apartment was seemingly smaller) than what the pictures suggested. The host did not acknowledge when we raised this. Instead, they tried to dismiss our comments. Mistakes and mix ups happen, but I was really disappointed in how the host handled the situation. The furnishings also felt temporary and the space was over crammed with furniture, which gave the apartment a claustrophobic feel

The overall place was fine. They have cleaning issues. There was sand and rocks everywhere including the floor and the furniture, inside and outside the house. There were stains on the bed some were blood while others were yellow stains. I tried to clean the place myself but the vacuum was not even working. Really bad cleaning conditions. They don’t really clean anything before stays other than resetting the place. Would not stay here again.

He knew that there’s a construction team on the rooftop write above us and he didn’t said anything about it. All he cared was to take our money. For two days we didn’t sleep in one room because they were stains on the sheets. When they changed the sheets the next morning a construction team at 7 am start with the noise fixing the roof. When we called the host to complain he literally said that he didn’t know about that ( like the came suddenly without any notice)! Let me be sarcastic: -The workers didn’t had anything to do that day and they said…Hey guys it’s kind of boring today! Let’s go and fix that roof-just for fun! Scammer host.

The property had several maintenance issues that affected our stay. The bathtub drained poorly, some doors and fixtures did not function properly, and we experienced a concerning issue with a cooktop gas control that did not appear to operate correctly. The home was managed by a property management company, and the experience felt impersonal. A cleaner arrived approximately 30 minutes before checkout and blocked part of the driveway while we were still preparing to leave. And the inspector person said he will send the charcoal for BBQ but we never received that. Most concerning, we received a damage claim after checkout for screen damage that we believe existed before our arrival. Despite explaining our concerns, the claim proceeded. This created unnecessary stress after the trip and significantly detracted from what should have been a relaxing vacation experience. Future guests may want to thoroughly document the condition of the property upon arrival.

We booked and fully paid for this vacation months in advance and were extremely excited to spend Memorial Day weekend in the Keys with our son and daughter-in-law. We drove about 7–8 hours from Tampa during heavy holiday traffic, only to receive a cancellation call when we were about one hour away from the property. We were informed that the AC was not working and would not be repaired until Monday. What made the situation very disappointing was not just the cancellation itself, but the complete lack of alternatives or support from the host at that moment. No portable AC, no fans, no option to still stay with a discount, and no immediate relocation assistance despite knowing it was one of the busiest weekends of the year in the Florida Keys. Our check-in was supposed to be at 4 PM, and by 7:30 PM we were still sitting in a CVS parking lot desperately calling hotels in Marathon and surrounding areas while almost everything was completely sold out. Returning home after driving all day

Misrepresented property. No book showing how things work etc. kept telling us the WiFi would be fixed and it was off from late Friday til we left on Tuesday, only to find out the day we left that a switch in the house was off accidentally!! We suggested an appropriate refund with no response just a lot of I am sorry!! This does not cut it when paying top dollar. Please be alert with these inexperienced hosts if you wish to stay here.hopefully the owner will read these comments.!

The house itself is okay, they have a bunch of mirrors and it appears bigger in photos than it is. The house has an overwhelming smell of pets, all of our allergies were horrible in the house but fine when we were gone. We had to open all the doors to even stay there. Air BnB offered to evacuate us but we’d a had to find a new place and pay even more. We were there for my grandmothers memorial and the stress of a move was more than we could handle. We powered through but would not recommend to anyone. The host wasn’t helpful, only offered air fresheners. They clearly knew there was an odor despite denying it. They had an air purifier in the main part of the house where the smell was most potent.

I waited until the last possible day to leave this review because I hoped these issues would be resolved and I could share a more positive outcome. Unfortunately, two weeks after our stay, iTrip Vacations still had not provided a resolution. Upon arrival, we found 3 dead mice inside the home, which immediately raised sanitation concerns. We also discovered the kitchen sink was backed up and overflowing onto the floor, making it unusable our first night and disrupting our plans. Although the sink was repaired the next day, we continued finding evidence of mice, including trash bags that had been chewed through overnight. What was especially concerning was discovering a mouse deterrent device already installed in the house, suggesting this may have been an existing issue. Airbnb did their best to assist, and communication was initially prompt, but iTrip Vacations failed to resolve the matter within a reasonable timeframe, which was unacceptable.
