“Host was responsive when we reached out to them, but this unit needs a lot of maintenance. When we arrived at the property, it was late, so we didn’t notice all of the things that needed to be fixed. The guest shower was dirty, black mold on most of the vents (some worse than others), dishwasher, sink was filling up, &the garbage disposal was not working. Worst of all, the AC did not work properly. Throughout the day, the temperature went up to 75°F, and at night, the coldest it got was 72°F. The property manager told us that 72°F was considered cold & normal for a summer day & that opening the door was letting hot, humid air inside. We have three young kids, and we ended up spending more time at the beach/pool to avoid the heat & stickiness in the room. I wish they would update the property,replace the AC unit, replace the carpet, fix the baseboards, & repaint. To their credit, they were responsive when we told them the bathroom, dishwasher, disposal, &vents. Dismissed our AC concern.”
