“Overall a great stay. It was a small cabin on a small lake with only about 10 other cabins around. My 6 year old loved fishing right off the back deck and getting to roast hot dogs and marshmallows in the fire pit. Close to chattanooga and cloudland canyon state park with plenty of things to do within a 35 minute drive. Dollar general very close for grocery needs or other random things. Internet worked well for my husband to work from laptop. Everything I needed in the kitchen. A couple of things to consider is the only bathroom being downstairs and bedroom is upstairs. Also, the only couch is not very comfortable. Mattresses are firm. I would definitely stay again despite those minor things.”

“The location is lovely and close to lots of stuff to do, but we ended up leaving a night early due to an issue with ants. There were lots of cobwebs around the inside of the cabin…guessing it had just been empty for a while. It didn’t really bother us except it made me think nobody checked it before we arrived. When we reported the ant issue it took a while to get a response. We were offered a refund, but they didn’t even refund for the full amount of the night we didn’t use. It was our choice to leave early, but I would expect a host to go above and beyond when there is an issue like this. We just got the cleaning fee back, but only after asking about the promised refund for a few days.”
