Manager Review

Grand Welcome

Grand Welcome's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The unit was clean from first glance until I started reaching behind the nightstand to plug a device up it was dusty!! Our problem was the overwhelming presence of flies inside the unit we reached out and they said they were going to send someone to spray the unit and all the done was send a uber driver to the unit with some fly swatters and a zevo device with the blue on it. They did respond quickly with automated response and about 20 minutes a representative called and offer us 100 dollar refund I’m like seriously!!

Definitely an unpleasant experience. The unit I booked had been booked twice by the staff. Apparently, they'd done it before, since they told me it had been booked again. I tried to contact them, but they didn't have a minute to answer or reply to my message. 24 hours later, the platform contacted me and told me the unit was infested. So I just hope this doesn't happen to your parents or any family member.

AVOID I hate to leave a bad review as a former superhost myself BUT… The WiFi did not work my entire stay and they did not resolve it (though I asked for two days straight). They insisted I use a text message line to communicate and NOT the Airbnb app. They used AI responses and non-US based support through that text only line (though I asked for a call). No overhead lighting and lamps only. Most of the outlets in the house did not work (the ones that did had lamps plugged into them so you’d have to unplug it to plug a phone or laptop in). The bathroom fan did not work. The photos also are not accurate of what actually is near this condo or comes with it (particularly the porch). The power went out the last night of my stay and they never gave me an update on when it would be fixed by the power company. I left in the middle of the night because it was so hot in the condo. Overall- this is an awful group to deal with and this condo is ok at best.

In 10 years of being on Airbnb I have never left a bad review but this place requires one. From the time we arrived, the toilets, sinks and showers were very slow to drain. Then on our 3rd day, every bathroom backed up with sewage in the showers, bathtubs and sinks. The entire house smelled like sewage. We tried to contact the host and were told they would call back in 15 mins, we never got a call back at all. We were forced to leave with no other option. I texted many times for updates and got no meaningful information from them. Then the next day they said ‘great news, we are sending a Plummer out’ obviously this didn’t help as we were already gone. Also to be clear, our family grew up on septic so we know not to put anything in the toilet except paper so if they reply to this and blame us, it’s false. Also one dishwasher wasn’t working, one oven wasn’t working, the dryer door was broken, the toilet was leaking from the bottom. Definitely NOT a luxury stay, please book elsewhere.

Don’t come here if you want a peaceful place to be able to sleep. You can hear every car on the road, especially at night, in the upstairs bedroom it’s impossible to sleep, you hear every car passing by. Also, for the price they are charging, how can you not have a smart TV in the house? There is an ancient TV, two remotes and no way to connect to any streaming service, even though it says you can in the listing.

The water heater did not work for 3 days, so we could not take a shower for the 3 days. (We stayed there for 11 nights.)They did not provide maintenance immediately. They promised to refund 3 days amount, but only refund $50 days after checkout.

I didn’t stay!!! once I walked in, my husband and I left to a hotel. Pictures are deceiving it’s way smaller. Bed falling a part sheets are cheap ,old and ,dingy! walls were dirty all over. Balcony tiny ,it looks bigger in the picture. The hallways dark and dingy. I tried to explain to the owner that I needed to cancel because of how unhappy I was with the place, but they dismissed my request

The first thing that bothered me is, there’s a house directly across from us (very close) and you have to drive up an extremely steep hill to get to it with tons of pot holes. The showerhead needs a removed it’s so bad, the hard water stain buildup has clogged holes. Stains on walls doors, dead plants, I have pictures. Wobbly tiles in bathroom. Our deposit was kept bc we were 14 mins over due while leaving even though they were well aware I was recovering from being hit by a car, and was slow moving, I just started walking with braces. All those places are owned by companies and they dont care like privately owned Air-BnBs. Ppl who own 1-2 really care and take the time to explain things not a robot talking to you. If I go back to sevierville. Sadly, I will stay in a resort because the way they are corporately owned and operated. We take good care of ppl and ppls things we clean anything we dirty. Our children don’t put feet on funtiure, no shoes in house. U give respect u SHOULD get it

I asked before booking if it was a whole house or shared walls like an apartment I have small kids that are really loud and excited for their first vacation they reassured me the whole house and no shared walls. I book it. Recently lost my grandpa still grieving. we get there and it’s an apartment w/ a huge dog next door they couldn’t do anything but refund $88 to my $330 said it was 50%. Took 50 min of sitting in the drive way w/ 3 kids cramped and fighting. I try not to cry infront of the kids the house is small. I go out side to get some space but there is no way to get away from all the people. we were going to get up at 7 but have all been awake sense 4:30 because people we are SHARING WALLS WITH have alarms from 4:30-6 nonstop I messaged the host but they only operate my room not the rest so there is absolutely nothing they can do. never had this experience before they wanted me to walk through the mud to take the trash to the other side of the apartments that they “don’t run”
