“We really enjoyed our stay at Kolea Kai! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. The location is hard to beat—close to great shopping, excellent restaurants, and some of the best beaches on the Big Island. Everything we wanted to see and do was conveniently nearby. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay here again. We will definitely be back!”

“Amazing beautiful property! My ohana & I did not want to leave this beautiful place! Felt like the perfect little getaway but close enough to drive to get to food or the shopping center. We had trouble with the code not working for the front door due to a missing number on the instructions, but the host responded in a timely matter & we were able to get in shortly. We would absolutely book this again! Mahalo”

“Beautiful location with lots to do and eat nearby. I’d recommend the Queen’s Marketplace for food and King’s Shops for souvenirs and gifts. Also, the night sky is gorgeous just looking up from the condo. Anaeho’omalu Beach and 49 Black Beach are great beaches nearby, with sea turtles all along the rocky parts of A-Beach. Though we didn’t get to use all the amenities available to us in the complex, it was nice knowing they were there. We only had one issue with the freezer not opening, which unfortunately wasn’t able to be fully resolved while we were there; however, responsive communication from the hosts allowed us to come up with a plan to retrieve personal items left in the freezer before we left. Overall, it was a great stay and we really appreciated the hospitality of our hosts and Hawai’i.”
