“This place is good if you're looking for somewhere simple to crash in Tahoe for a relatively affordable price. It's not the most up to date, but the sheet were clean and the bed was comfortable and it's close to Tahoe City.”

“Great little place. Beautiful view right off the front porch. River ranch Restaurant and The Crest breakfast cafe are both within 5 minute walking distance. Accessible Summer river raft transport available just around the corner. Had a great stay.”

“Place is amazing! The only downside is the hot water runs out very quickly and you have to wait 45 minutes before showers. Otherwise, everything was great!”

“Great place only a few minutes from Alpine. Kids loved sledding on the hill behind the house. Inside cabin perfectly clean. Heater was easy to use, heated pretty evenly for an A-frame, and wasn't too loud. I did wish there was wood available for the wood stove in the dining room though. Two king-size bedrooms was a huge plus. As another reviewer noted there are large piles of animal feces all over outside, including a huge pile in the driveway we had to carefully avoid while unloading. I'm not sure if it was a neighbor's huge dog or a bear, but if there is something to be done about it please do so for the next guests.”
