“Overall it was a pretty good stay! The code we were provided at check-in did not work. We contacted the number provided, and were able to access it shortly. However, several days later, we were locked out again and on hold for 30 minutes prior to getting a new code. Very close and walkable to the beach. The beach supplies provided were great- except for the umbrella. Very clean and provided all the supplies we needed for the week!”

“Lovely place overall, which I would recommend. A few minor issues; only one of which really bothered me - I found it hard to sleep - none of the bedrooms have proper curtains, just translucent blinds, so they are not dark at night. Nobody else in our party was bothered by this (my wife had a mask to sleep with). I had trouble getting in - perhaps I entered the code incorrectly, or left out the check mark at the end, but when I called the recommended number I had to leave a voicemail message, and did not receive a prompt call back - however on calling again it was all resolved. Only one car can be parked near the unit - others have to be parked some minutes' walk away. And there was confusion about the fee every car as to pay to enter Sea Pines - there seem to be varying charges by the day or by the week - when I arrived I told the agent at the gate I would be there for 2 full days, and gave him $20 - he said not a word and just handed me a pass which said $10 on it with a $5 bill.”

“***NO POOL*** I had the filter set on Airbnb to list only places with pools - this place is marked as having a pool, however, it does not. In the description at the very bottom, it did state this, and unfortunately I missed it. However, the listing is tagged as having a pool, when it does not. The pictures included in the listing are of a community pool, that has nothing to do with villas, totally separate. This pool has a large fee, and closes at 6pm due to being a COMMUNITY pool. I would not have booked this place had I noticed that. When I messaged the host about it, I got canned responses back - nothing helpful. The wifi did not work while we were there - a previous review noted this and it has not been fixed. The place was very nice and super clean. Short walk to the beach. It is on the sound, so the beach area is not fabulous, but it's very convenient! Right beside salty dog cafe! The sliding glass door did not lock - host was very responsive to this message.”

“Place was decent but had some problems. Had the wrong code to get in house so delayed entry. Oven was broken and wouldn’t turn off. Smart TV remotes wouldn’t allow access to use your own streaming channels. Dishes were dirty.”

“House is nice and fit our large group well. Internet was spotty. Had issues after checkout being accused of losing some items that we did not.”
