The home was generally as described and accommodated our family. The location was close to the beach, had lots of beach/water toys, and beautifully decorated! Unfortunately, we stayed during a heatwave and specifically chose this listing because it advertised AC. However, the cooling setup was a bit misleading. There was only 1 AC unit in the living room and 1 unit in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. Because the unit in the bedroom was not working upon arrival, Michael came over to fix it and provided an additional unit. However, even with all 3 units running, the thermometer read 78-84°F throughout our stay. This was not ideal for a listing that advertised AC (while portable units was specified, the thermometer should have been able to drop below 78° with all units running) as we had a baby with us and he had a hard time sleeping at this temperature. This was a major issue and ruined the entire stay. We were declined a refund in an effort to stay at a hotel with AC.

All I am going to staying here with more than one car, be prepared to drive around looking for street parking. We came late on Sat. night and my son in law had to drive around for almost 2 hours looking for a place to park, and it was so far away I had to go and pick him up because it was too far to walk. We also had a power outage for more than 12 hours. We had small children and no AC all night. We ended getting up at 4am and packing up and leaving it was so miserable. We had to use our flashlights on our phones, due to no flashlights in the house and all I was offered for the inconvenience was a $50 refund. Not the best area either, lots of homeless people.

The house has an open floor plan where you don't not feel claustrophobic. Love the sofa, enough for everyone to sit down. The area is very peaceful and quiet. A great place to just relax and chill during your stay. You can hear the ocean waves when sitting outside to enjoy the weather in the morning. A pleasant place for a getaway just for a couple days.

Went there for my 69th birthday. There was 7 of us including 4 teenagers The place was clean and good size. we fit fine. Comfortable beds, good size kitchen, dining and living room. It has 1 car off street parking. You are convenient to Queen Mary, The aquarium of the Pacific, grocery shopping and dining. It is a short walk to the beach unless you’ve had 2 knee replacements or 4 back surgeries(better to drive the 5 minutes) We had two cars so at night you had to find street parking sometimes 3or 4 blocks away for our second car. our host mentioned watch out for street sweeping BUT we didn’t realize different streets have different times and different days. Two $75 parking tickets wise us up fast. Hosts were quick on texting back. A few more things. No BBQ or room for one cozy front yard and no backyard! If I was going to be staying in Long Beach not bad for the price

This was the most disappointing Airbnb experience we’ve had. Within minutes of arriving, we found human fecal matter left in the toilet. We also encountered additional cleanliness issues, including unpleasant odors from the refrigerator and freezer, toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror, floors that did not appear to have been properly cleaned, a discarded shot cup under the TV stand, and no sheets and pillowcases for the pull-out bed. What was most disappointing was the lack of response. Despite reporting these issues immediately, with pictures, no one offered to send housekeeping, provide the missing linens, or make an effort to improve our stay. Any communication with the hosts was a result of us contacting them. “Under review” is the message we repeatedly received. We ultimately involved Airbnb’s Resolution Center, and Airbnb advised us that the host did not respond to their attempts to resolve the matter either. I wish we had not stayed there. The hosts need to do better.
