The transition from Vacasa to Casago and now to First Chair Destinations has been extremely frustrating. We were told the process would be seamless and that our listings would only be offline temporarily at the end of May while everything migrated over. Not ideal. June 1 came and went, and our listings were still offline. We’re missing out on summer bookings, and they seem to have no clue. Our channel listings have disappeared. They should be paying us for our losses - my ask was ignored. Communication has been unclear (or wrong). I do not have a clear sense of what is happening, and it seems the local team doesn’t either. The best employees have left, and I no longer have confidence that the situation will improve. I’m switching managers to salvage the rest of the summer.

Im not sure if it was just me, but this had been a pretty rough stay. It would have been a 5/5 all around, but the sheets were covered in someone/somethings hair, with a dead bug just chilling on the bed. If the beds were clean I would have been happier.

The place is very nice and located in a great quiet neighborhood super close to canyon lodge. It was clean and instructions were clear. The only reason for docking a star was compared to other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at this ski season this one was pretty bare bones. The balcony door was out of order and couldn’t be opened and the place felt really stuffy especially after cooking. Also all other airbnbs provided fire wood and pellets for their fireplace or wood stove but this one did not and didn’t have a lighter. The checkout was also the most extensive we’ve seen we even had to empty the bathroom trash cans.

This is not a self check-in by lockbox as it claims - you have to go to the main office across the street from the condos. Other than that, the place was great. Good location, walkable, and a good size unit. It was very quiet - didn't hear much noise from other units. FYI, there was not a humidifier in the unit.

The location of this property was very convenient. The home itself felt quite dated and worn, and it clearly hasn’t been updated or refreshed in some time. Many areas were run down, and the overall condition made the stay less comfortable than expected. The kitchen was very limited. There was only one small cutting board, which was stained, and no pot to cook something as basic as pasta. It would be helpful if the kitchen were better stocked for guests. When we arrived, there were only four towels for our group of six, so we had to wait until the next morning for additional towels to be delivered. Overall, while the location is great, the property is outdated and poorly equipped, and we would not stay here again.

The location is hard to beat - close to the Main Street with all the restaurants. The space was nice! Clean and comfortable. However, the code we were given for check in did not work and we had to wait about two hours before we got help getting in from the Airbnb hosts.

We've stayed at dozens of condos in Mammoth over the years and this place is very average in every way. The only stand-out positive is the location and proximity to Canyon Lodge. Parking at the unit was difficult, too many units and not enough parking spots. Lights in the hallway were not working and we had to use a flashlight to access the ski storage. The inside of the unit has relatively new but inexpensive further. No where to sit to put shoes on at the door. The carpet throughout felt like it was 20 years old. Would not stay here again. The company that hosts the unit has like 20 signs about your responsibilities as the GUEST which is typical but annoying.

Would have been a great place if it wasn't for how dirty the house was. floors were dirty, bathroom rugs were very dirty, sheets and comforters looked dirty, even found female items in the sheets. dishes were dirty. quiet location

I’ve stayed at this location before and think it’s a great spot and a big draw in the area. The unit itself was very nice and met our expectations. My main issue was with Vacasa’s communication. We were told we could check in early, which we appreciated, but after checking in someone entered the apartment and seemed surprised we were there. The parking permit was also missing upon arrival, which caused stress about potentially being towed. The pullout couch was set up, but only with sheets, no blankets or comforters were provided. When I reached out, the responses felt automated and made the process frustrating, though we did eventually receive blankets. Overall, the unit was great, but the management experience was disappointing

I specifically called ahead and asked if there was a BBQ and whether it was working. I was clearly told yes. However, when we arrived, we had to remove snow from the balcony just to access the BBQ, only to find out it did not work at all. I contacted management right away. They said they would reach out to a local team to help, but nothing was actually done. The only response we received was an apology, with no solution or follow-up. On top of that, the bed sheets looked old, did not feel properly clean, and had a noticeable damp, musty smell, which was very unpleasant. Overall, this was disappointing and not what was promised or expected, especially after confirming details in advance.

The location and cleanliness were great but there was a light in the main living room that was not working. One of the bedroom doors did not open from the inside so that bedroom was barely functional for the couple staying there. When presented with these issues management only issued an apology but did not resolve the issue during the stay or warn us ahead of time. They also did not offer any type of remedy during or after the fact besides an apology. I understand certain things need maintenance but we paid full price for a location that seemed to be not fully operational.
