“It was very clean. Much smaller than I expected, and I wouldn't say it sleep 6 comfortably-loft is sketchy. There's enough parking for only one car. It's very dated, not enough outlets in bedrooms. My husband and I both have sleep machines and could not plug them in. Extension cords plugged into extension cords. Beds were not very comfortable. Overall, I guess it's described as what it really is. I just expected more.”

“Our experience at the cottage was very disappointing. Due to a Nor'easter & difficult travel conditions we contacted the host about rebooking or applying a discount. Unfortunately they were not accommodating, nor did they offer flexibility or consideration. We ultimately left early because of worsening travel conditions & no discount or adjustment was offered. Unfortunately the condition of the cottage itself added to our concerns. The deck is unusable due to broken rails, the front step has a hazardous, unsafe gap that caused my husband to trip. Door lock needs replacing. A lamp was broken, some light bulbs not working; bedroom door did not completely close. Given that we were dealing with a Nor'easter we asked whether flashlights or extra towels were available. The host couldn't confirm & told us to bring our own! We know severe weather is outside of the hosts control. Reasonable communication & property that is safe & maintained is in the hosts control. We would NOT stay here again.”

“We were really disappointed to find that the master bedroom bedding was full of long black human hairs and dog hair all over the blanket and pillows. We have two very young children that we had to wake up and move to the small bedroom with us when we noticed the state of the bedding. Originally we had friends who were going to stay with us, but thankfully they canceled or else we would not have had a clean bed to sleep in. When I contacted the host the next morning they were helpful to connect us with the cleaners directly who offered to come and change out the bedding. We left and came back to the whole house cleaned, all of our stuff moved around, our personal bedding and towels folded etc. The worst part was that the master bedroom sheets again had hair in them and fresh, unwashed blood stains on a pillow. Upon messsging again they said they would come and remove them that day, but no one came until the next day. Paid for 4 nights we got 1 night in a comfortable bed and only $88 ref”
