“We really loved this cabin. It is charming, I believe it was built in the 1940s, and it has been very well kept with plenty of room for everyone. The location is stunning. We had one rainy day and honestly it ended up being one of my favorite days. We all sat in the main living room watching the lake, reading books and chatting. In the evenings we grilled, played games and spent most of our time together in that room. There is a dock that seems to be part of the property, although I don't remember seeing it mentioned in the listing. We definitely enjoyed it. We sat out there and our college age kids jumped off it to swim and laid out in the sun, always chasing the UV. My only real issue was the bed in the bedroom on the middle floor. It was unbelievably uncomfortable. If my husband or I moved, we practically bounced the other person off the bed, and the mattress was hard as a rock. I am a side sleeper and eventually gave up and slept on the couch in the main room, which was actually a”

“We had a lovely multiple night stay here! We used it as a base camp to explore the surrounding flathead area and glacier national park. We put the kitchen and outdoor areas to good use. Was more than comfortable for our party of six.”

“Our time at Blacktail Cabin was AMAZING! The cabin felt so private and genuinely like you’re in the middle of the mountains but you’re only 5 minutes from the town of lakeside, which was super convenient! The Cabin is so beautiful and cozy and all of the extras in the house were super appreciated! (Lawn chairs, boardgames, bug spray,blender, etc.) My family enjoyed it so much we’ve already talked about trying to make it an annual summer trip, and maybe a winter as well! ❤️”

“Great place to stay in Lakeside. House was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable and was easy to feel right at home. Ate at The Harbor (good) and Tamarack Brewing (great) in Lakeside. Unfortunately was on a work trip so could not enjoy all that the area has to offer.”
