4.56Visit website
Village Realty's guest rating of 4.56 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Top things that we can complain about: insufficient cutlery, unclean kitchen equipment, clogged sink, broken dishwasher, lack of response to my message. On the other hand, we enjoyed the pool area, game area and the location of the house. Beds were really comfortable. As a summary, the house need to be better prepared and cleaned for the amount of money requested.”airbnb

“Trash left in the yard by the curb for the 4 days we stayed there. Constant internet problems (I know they can’t do much about that other getting better service), pool was filthy upon arrival had to take 30 mins to clean. Elevator contactor came out to inspect the elevator and was told I didn’t have to stay to attend but when he arrived he told us that was not true and someone had to be in the house at all times, holding us up for some time while he worked and we were leaving to go enjoy vacation. Response time for Village Reality was horrible. It said they have 8 hour response time on some instances I wouldn’t receive an answer for over 24 hours or a response at all. Definitely not worth what I paid”airbnb

“When we arrived beds were not made, no sheets available, sheets didn’t arrive until 10:30 at night after I had to go buy linens. Dead bugs throughout house. Rats in grills. Leaks in ceilings, missing siding, light fixtures falling apart, dryer hose not connected, lint trap broken, missing light bulbs, wobbly 3rd floor deck, broken shower doors on first floor. A/C doesn’t work throughout the house.. I called and texted in the app and got no response.”airbnb

“We didn't have air-conditioning on 2 floors of the house most of the stay. Top floor never got fixed and stayed at 86 degrees all week. Not working on arrival and told every day that it would be fixed. Property was beautiful. I have never left a bad review while traveling all over. They knew of the problem, just didn't care.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing overall. The property was not as clean as expected upon arrival, and one of the biggest issues was that there were no linens available for guests to use. We ended up having to spend around $80 purchasing our own linens, which was an unexpected inconvenience and expense. Communication from the host regarding these issues was lacking, and there was little effort made to properly resolve the situation or offer fair compensation. Both myself and the other guests left feeling frustrated and disappointed with how everything was handled. On a positive note, we did enjoy the pool and hot tub amenities, which were nice and helped make the stay somewhat enjoyable. However, the cleanliness issues and lack of basic accommodations overshadowed the experience.”airbnb

“The house itself was nice, and the pool was great as well. Overall, the property was clean, comfortable, and had the potential to be a place we would return to in the future. That said, there were a few disappointments. Before our stay, my dog unexpectedly passed away, and although I spoke directly with someone who told me they would note the account regarding the pet fee, the fee was still not refunded. I completely understand that this is a business, but a little humanity and flexibility in that situation would have gone a long way, especially for someone who likely would have been a repeat customer and left glowing reviews. There were also a few convenience issues during the stay. Basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags were very limited, and beach towels were not provided. Additionally, the WiFi went out multiple times during our stay. Property itself is beautiful, but the customer service experience and lack of some essentials left us with mixed feelings”airbnb

“The house was beautiful, however the property manager or the company that this owner went through was extremely unprofessional was not courteous and provided false information when I asked to confirm before booking I was told yes the pool would be heated when in fact, I found out from the owner the pool heater was broken. I was misled, and then when I told them that the AC was broken, my reservation was canceled and the cops were called to remove me and my family from the premises.”airbnb

“Supposed to be pet free but there was pet hair causing allergies to flare up. Needs a deep cleaning: very dirty under the beds (a receipt from 2022 was under the bed along with other items) and furniture & sofa pillows were dusty. Needs some maintenance also. Won’t be going back.”airbnb

“The house was a wonderful spot to be able to come home and relax after our days but there’s something things that upset us quite a bit. First there was dirt and dog hair in the bed of the king size bedroom on the first floor also weird stains around the house, second the front door would not keep close unless you lock it with the bolt lock, third there were two pool people that showed up unexpectedly one of them showed up when we had 2 hours left before we left and we thought they could’ve waited until then. Once we got there and wanted to have dinner and wind down we find out that there’s no propane also no detergent not even salt and pepper. For staying a week we only got 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and only 2 trash bags for the entire property, be prepared to pack your home up to stay at this property.”airbnb

“The company responded by telling me that the home was handicap assessable with a room and bathroom on the first floor and elevator. I was told that the property was waterfront view and that the jacuzzi was available year round . Upon arrival I noticed that there were a large amount of stairs to the entrance, I walked around the back of home assuming there was a flat entrance to get into the home and there was not , myself and mother had to physically lift my father (whom has walking difficulties) up 5 steps to get into the home to access it . After getting him inside I walked around the home and noticed that in the main living room there were 2 blinds that were completely broken , the fire place which is a offered amenity was inoperable and the carpet and couch were visibly stained and had pet hair on them. I went to use the jacuzzi the next day and the water was a bright green color and had a HORRIBLE ODOR ! . This by far was the worst stay for me using air bnb . I would not recommend”airbnb
