“Between a disgusting backyard that took over 24 hours to get taken care of, walking outside to let my dog out and having the pool guy in the yard with absolutely no mention from the company nor the guy let us know he was there to heading out for an excursion for the day to find that a contractor or something had been in the house without any notice while our dog was there and having to deal with her being beyond upset I would give this company 0 stars if it were possible. We and our dog were so uncomfortable being there after we knew someone had been there that instead if enjoying our last morning we just left super early. I was told yesterday I would be hearing from management today and that still haven't heard from them. I was going to wait to do my review until after I had spoken to them. Since that hasn't happened here we are. I will never recommend staying at any property managed by this company. Disappointed and angry all the way around especially considering the cost.”

“This home and it's location were amazing. As far as the house it was good. There were only a couple of issues with the home. The refrigerator as well as the backup refrigerator were malfunctioning, the remote from the gameroom television was missing and there was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The house wasn't excessively dirty, It just really needs a thorough cleaning. I did figure out that the living room television remote would work with the television downstairs but that led to constantly finding it after the kids took it down.”

“The location of this home was perfect! Extremely close to the beach & on the edge of kitty hawk so we could easily visit the other towns near by like Duck or Nags Head. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. There was sand throughout the house and dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. There was a lack of supplies (dishwashing tablets, paper towels, toilet paper) provided for the home that can house so many people.”

“Nice place and a great location. This property needs some deep cleaning along with minor repairs throughout the home.”

“The home owners put a lot of effort into making sure this home is equipped with things to do while you are there. There is a grill, a smoker, a beautiful deck, kayaks. Unfortunately they are very hard to enjoy because of the spiders and webs everywhere. Their agent could have the outside pressure washed to resolve this issue but obviously refuses. I spent 2 hours with a stick vacuum cleaning the spiders and webs on the inside of the home so we could at least enjoy things in there. I reported broken items when we arrived and was told someone would contact me during business hours, never heard from anyone. Reached out once more again with no response. The fridge doesn't shut tight so your stuff does not stay cold. There were 4 dustpans but no broom in sight so I went and bought one and left it behind for the next guest. Luckily there were only 3 adults because there are only 5 forks. Village Realty needs to DO BETTER as an agent for the homeowner! Could be a perfect home on OBX!”
