“Poorly maintained, pictures didn't match what was there. there wasn't even a dustpan in the house. Sinks and shower clogged, pool area a mess, grill was never cleaned”

“We did not have a good experience. When we arrived at the VRBO, we found that the condo was in need of maintenance and cleaning. When you are paying over $560/night you would expect basic amenities like dish soap, hand soap, extra garbage bags, dishcloths to name a few. The master bathroom had a dingy old shower with a clear shower curtain liner that was missing rings. There was old food behind the garbage can in the kitchen, which clearly tells me that the person that cleaned did not do a good job. You also have to make your own bed when you get there and they do not provide the right number of pillowcases for how many pillows you have. It is ridiculous to have a check in time of 5 PM and a check out time of 10 AM. There were cobwebs, dirty baseboards, the condo was an overall need of painting and basic repairs but the icing on the cake was cockroaches. Not just one not just too, but we saw a minimum of five and that’s what we saw and killed. Would not recommend!”

“Great location next to the pool and walkable to beach. Unfortunately the house was dirty and we had problems with 4 amenities without any help to fix them. (No WiFi, no living room tv, dirty hot tub that didn’t work, and missing pool passes for a few days of our stay)”

“We were very disappointed. Original place had AC issue and we were not told. 2nd property needed work. Horrible nasty, holey furniture, pans had rust in them, could not cook. Overall a frustrating experience.”

“This was the worst airbnb experience I have ever had. We arrived with 3 kids late at night and the keypad didn't work. It took over 30 mins for the emergency on call person to respond. He wasn't able to fix the problem and offered to drive out but wouldn't be able to arrive for an hour (1:30 AM). We decided to stay in a hotel and couldn't access the property until the next morning. The host refused to refund the first night and we had to go through airbnb to do it. The place itself was clean, and right in the middle of town and very walkable. This said it did not come with anything to make it more comfortable. There were not enough towels, no soap/dish soap/hair dryer, etc. If you are staying here, be prepared to bring everything with you. If you want them to make the beds, you have to pay extra. For what you pay for this place, it really isn't worth it and I would not stay there again.”

“The condo was exactly as described. Beautiful beach location. Elevators were fast. But the spaces were taken to unpack our belongings when we arrived so we had to lug everything from the parking garage across the street…and they didn’t have enough carts for everyone. And the condo could have been cleaner. With that being said, I would stay here again because of the location.”

“This place was very outdated. The furniture was old. The house was nasty. We had to clean from top to bottom, dirty dishes in the cabinet. I practically clean the refrigerator out. The bathrooms had mold and mildew everywhere. The beds were nasty with hair on the sheets and covers. The place really wasn’t ready for someone else to stay in. It was cleaner when we left then when we came, I took pictures. Also, I was very disappointed. They wanted us to do a lot of cleaning before we left, but it was cleaner when we left then we came in their expectations of us was a lot more than what we had from them. It is concerning that we have not yet received a response from Seaside Vacation regarding the situation they were supposed to contact us about on Monday. As it is now Tuesday, we are deeply disappointed in their lack of communication.”

“We rented this for a family mini-reunion and this was the worst AirBnB experience for any of us. We spent 5 out of the 7 days of our vacation managing issues. Not restful! Pros The location is excellent. Cons -For this price point, the house is a bit outdated - Blood-stained mattress cover in master bedroom upon arrival. -Also, not a huge deal but we were expected to make all beds with the provided sheets. - Broken washing machine upon arrival - Empty propane tank - Missing essentials like dishtowels and bathmats - Backyard not as pictured — broken furniture, a dirty cabana area, and a dirt patch for a lawn -Broken tv that we reported as soon as we noticed and then the host accused us of breaking it and charged us - Time taken away from vacation to handle issues with the management company The management company did address most of these issues but these were all issues that could have been addressed before we arrived.”

“WARNING LOOK ELSEWHERE! House came with 4 rolled of toilet paper yet we had 5 full bathrooms and 2 half. No hand soap for any bathrms 1 dishwasher pod, no dish soap, 1 trash bag, and 1 paper towel. The carpet was soaking wet all over my son fell in the kitchen and I fell going to get him up with wet shoes. After 24 hours of not having internet I discovered the internet wasn’t plugged in which meant no tv. 2 old hot tubs. 1 not filled all the way and all jets not working, 2nd tub didn’t work. Dirty pool not cleaned once ,fridges/ice maker not on. Dirty dishes, 1 10” deep skillet no fryer pan for eggs. 1/2 trash cans were full of trash at the st. Ac broke,2 clogged showers. 1 toilet was clogged on arrival. Pool never cleaned. Missing hand towels. Beach wagon flat tires. Broken outdoor chairs and tables. Broken dining room chair. No high chair of pack and play. Dog treats found on floor and my two year old almost ate from a previous renter. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.”

“So disappointed. We booked this to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary. Upon arrival, the grass in the yard was up to my dad's knees. There was an undisclosed pool alarm that could not be turned off. Code to the pool house was incorrect. Both kitchen sinks needed repair, and one of them caused a shock to my daughter in law. Dog hair. Pool chairs are hard as cement. EDITED photo removing dangerous pipes in pool house. Old soup cans holding utensils. All drawers and cupboards messy and full of stuff. Dead plants in all the planters. No instructions for TVs, couldn't get them to work. WiFi password on the fridge is wrong. They sent an associate to fix some of these issues. But the house should never have been released for guests. The safety, cleanliness, and maintenance were unacceptable at $6,000 for the week. We emailed them a list of our concerns and, after asking for time to review the details, they refunded us a tiny, tiny amount. And they never reached out to discuss.”
