We did not have a good experience. When we arrived at the VRBO, we found that the condo was in need of maintenance and cleaning. When you are paying over $560/night you would expect basic amenities like dish soap, hand soap, extra garbage bags, dishcloths to name a few. The master bathroom had a dingy old shower with a clear shower curtain liner that was missing rings. There was old food behind the garbage can in the kitchen, which clearly tells me that the person that cleaned did not do a good job. You also have to make your own bed when you get there and they do not provide the right number of pillowcases for how many pillows you have. It is ridiculous to have a check in time of 5 PM and a check out time of 10 AM. There were cobwebs, dirty baseboards, the condo was an overall need of painting and basic repairs but the icing on the cake was cockroaches. Not just one not just too, but we saw a minimum of five and that’s what we saw and killed. Would not recommend!

We were very disappointed. Original place had AC issue and we were not told. 2nd property needed work. Horrible nasty, holey furniture, pans had rust in them, could not cook. Overall a frustrating experience.

The house itself was clean and in a good location. Having access for the dock was awesome for swimming and fishing. Upon arrival there was a rock on the stairs with “I’m watching you” written on it. That was odd and off putting. The grass was also excessively tall. It was grossly overdue to be cut. We were told it was due to rain, but nond of the neighbors had high grass. It looked like the front yard hadn’t been cut in months. We had issues getting into the pool both days we went, which was incredibly frustrating, especially with a 3 year old. This is the first AirBNB where an envelope was left by the housekeeper asking for tips. This was especially odd since: -Several of the remotes did not work, and had missing or dead batteries. -We thought there were only 3 coffee mugs, until I found a dishwasher full of clean dishes left for me to unload. -Several stray fish hooks were left on the bottom level. Also, The toilet paper was the cheapest I’ve ever used.

We were disappointed by both the condition of this property and the lack of timely response to the issues we reported. On our first day, we contacted Seaside Vacations five times as we discovered numerous problems. While they promptly delivered missing sheets and a clean mattress protector, none of the other issues were addressed until Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours before checkout. The maintenance technician tightened dangerously loose screws on both bunk beds, calling their condition unsafe, but only photographed the remaining problems. Issues included black mold and rotting wood around multiple windows and the sliding door, loose bunk beds, a broken box spring, missing TV remote, stained mattress protector, dirty carpets and furniture (our crawling baby's hands and knees turned black), a broken arcade game, and two large cockroaches found on checkout day. While maintenance issues can happen, the number of problems and the delayed response made it disappointing.

amazing location! beds were comfy! however I didn't think I'll be booking with seaside vacations again. unit 15 was definitely the worst unit at seawalk. there were cracks all through the drywall, electric outlets that pulled out of the wall, paint chipping from the exterior window and door frames. our rental was listed with a community pool and private beach access but both required a pin code that was not provided. we never really had a working freezer that got below 37°. The upstairs bathroom exhaust fan needed replaced after we had maintenance come and look at it.
