“We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in this home.”

“Our vacation was ruined from moment we walked in the door! The house was extremely dirty and huge spiders in/out of the house/in the pool, the tv’s-unusable in all bedrooms, dog feces all over the back yard, the grill was disgusting & useless, nails sticking up all over the decks, all drawers in the kitchen were gross inside, the comforters and pillows in 2 rooms had stains on them (we reported and never received replacements as promised). The stairway handrails, walls, ceiling fans, appliances, drawers, dishes, tables, chairs, counters and stools were all so dirty I washed them 4x to get them clean. Every dish or pot we used had to be washed before use. The carpets were so dirty and stained we had to wear our shoes at all times and couldn’t play with our dogs on the floor. The master bathroom/bottom entryway stunk like dirty cat litter. We had issues with the hot water not working and the hot tub malfunctioning with a temp of 109 rendering that unless. RUN, DO NOT STAY HERE!! RUN!!”

“We loved the location but the house needs work! The doors are almost impossible to open !!!One of the showers only gives a straight stream, the sink in that bathroom runs constantly. The towel holder in one bathroom suddenly fell off!! The hot tub was super clean !!! We had a wonderful stay but thought you should know these things!!”

“This was our families first trip to OBX, and we lucked out on choosing this place. We wanted a place that was cozy and within walking distance to the beach. Check. We wanted a place that wasn't in a crowded area, and their wasn't a lot of noise. Check. Basically we wanted a shore house without all of the shore "extras" that can take away from having a peaceful vacation. Sea la Vie was exactly what we were looking for. The house had everything we needed for our stay, including plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. We like to cook together, and the kitchen had an ample supply of cookware and utensils for preparing meals. We also made good use of the grill. Our stay was a very relaxing, low key vacation that my family and I had set out to do when we booked the place, so it was a great success. We are very happy we chose to stay at Sea la Vie.”
