“The home was beautiful! It was a relaxing getaway and the pictures did not do the beauty of it justice. The water area, kayaks, dock and backyard are a shared space with the other property. I do think this should be specified more in the description when booking. Luckily no one was at the other property during our stay. It would not have been the same atmosphere if someone was. We did have an issue at check in. We arrived at 4:00 which is already a later check in time after traveling 9 hours and the home was not cleaned. I had to call about this concern. They stated the cleaning service had a mix up and they sent the cleaning service over right away. We had to wait an additional hour to enter the home. They responded fast however it is very disappointing to wait an hour after a 9 hour drive. There was no compensation for the wait . There was also a time a maintenance staff came to look at the air conditioner without prior notice. The communication between staffing needs improvement.”

“My friend and I had such a great few days here. No frills, but we didn’t need any and Little Birch had exactly what we needed. The location is ideal and proximate enough to get ice cream, lunch, or dinner out. The island, dock, and kayaks were beautiful, and this part of Little Sebago was quiet with lots to do on the water. (Look out for the ice cream boat!) No one was in Big Birch while we were there, so we had the whole property to ourselves, which made a big difference, I think. The WiFi was spotty on our second day, so if you’re planning to work remotely, plan for a bit of troubleshooting or a nearby backup plan. Luckily, there is lots near by and it was fine after that. Hoping to come back in the future!”

“Little Birch is the perfect size for a couple. The place was clean, sanitary, & clutter free. The bed was fairly comfortable & there was plenty of seating between the living area couch & recliners in the bedroom (which we mostly used for luggage storage) On a 90°+ day, the AC took 8+ hours to cool the bedroom down to high 70s but managed to hold the temp the rest of the stay when the days cooled down. Cell service, with Verizon & Comcast was almost obsolete but not a big deal for those that want to disconnect. I was not able to stay connected to wifi, which was only an issue because I had to work during vacation & could not do so here. No TV app streming. The amenities the lake had to offer were incredible. The water is tea stained, but a perfect temperature for swimming & Perch fishing off the dock was awesome. The hosts offer two top-of-the-line Kayaks which we took advantage of every day. Overall, Little Birch is a lovely place to relax, unwind, watch sunsets, & enjoy lake life.”

“This was easily the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The location was beautiful with easy access to the lake and all of the toys to go out onto the water were provided. The firepit next to the cabin made for easy nights of relaxation. The cabin is set up to be a very cozy and welcoming stay. This is a location that we not only HIGHLY recommend but will be returning too in the future.”
