“Mixed experience here. On the plus side, the location is fantastic. Amazing coffee shops, restaurants, and an H-E-B are within 10-15 minutes, and most tourist attractions are under a 20-minute drive. The house itself was decent, and the patio has a great view. However, communication with Vacasa was poor. The app says to expect a response within 3 hours, but it routinely took over 5 hours. We didn't even get an acknowledgment after messaging at checkout. We also had some issues. The door lock was badly jammed, leaving us stuck outside for 40 minutes. After dealing with the corporate call center, we finally reached a local agent, David, who was very helpful. He got us inside and replaced a dying smoke alarm battery. Also, the patio was quite dusty and the outdoor furniture is very old. The location was great, but due to the poor communication and check-in hassle, I’ll likely avoid Vacasa properties next time.”
