“The house is fine but nothing special. Clean and maintained. Wish the TV could connect to the internet, especially as we were stuck inside on a rainy day. The main issue for us was the check-out time. The check-in time is strictly 4 PM and check-out at 9 AM, without exceptions. I have never heard or seen a 9 AM check-out time across any rentals or AirBnBs. It is usually a standard 11 AM- 12 PM. With their check-out time being as early as 9 AM, your whole last day is ruined as you have to wake-up early to check-out and can’t plan anything in the AM. Because of this reason alone, would recommend reconsidering booking this place or any other Del Mar managed property, unless early check-out is not an issue.”airbnb

“The house and view are truly stunning, just like in the photos. However, a few improvements could be made. The front door is very difficult to open and close and needs to be repaired. Additionally, the check-in and check-out times are inconvenient (4pm and 9am). There was nothing available in the kitchen, not even tea or coffee. With these improvements, it would be perfect.”airbnb

“This space was in a cute, fairly walkable neighborhood. What was nice was the backyard, which our dog definitely enjoyed. The kitchen had everything you could need, except for any kind of water filer. The only things that gave me pause were: 1) it seems like this company Del Mar owns most, if not all, of the rental properties in Yarmouth? At least it seemed that way when walking/driving around. Because this third party company runs this property, I had to pay an additional $90 pet fee on Del Mar’s own website, in addition to the ~$400/day on the AirBnB website. I have never experienced this before, as most AirBnBs that claim to be pet friendly would typically incorporate the cost of allowing pets to stay at the property into the overall fee. 2) The checkout time was 9am. I again have never experienced this on AirBnB before. Most AirBnBs have an 11am checkout time, maybe 10:00 at the earliest. They clearly want you in and out so they can get the next person in ASAP.”airbnb

“Really cute place, *extremely* comfortable bed, very clean. Amazing location right in the heart of Provincetown, everything within walking distance, but still very quiet. I don't usually do this, but I'm docking one star off because check out is 9am, which meant waking up earlier than I'd like on vacation. I don't think I've ever stayed at an Airbnb with a checkout before 10am, and it's especially strange for a really tiny place (could be cleaned by professionals in probably 30 minutes), run by a streamlined businesses with multiple places in the area. Would've easily been 5 stars if they had a 10am checkout.”airbnb

“Host was great but the location and Bnb was not worth the price I paid. There were stains, no heat in the hot tub and too many rules for a Bnb that wasn’t even fully cared for. I had higher expectations for the price I paid!!!”airbnb

“Nice space but had a few issues -wifi on the check in sheet was wrong. Needed to contact them for the correct info. Hopefully the update moving forward - we were trying to use the fire pit only to realize they didn’t provide a propane tank. We had to use the one from the grill. A little disappointed that we needed to set this up Other than that, house was clean and had a good supply of things in the kitchen”airbnb

“This place and as described. We had no problems whatsoever. We only slept there as we were on a work trip. My issue is that it is managed by Del Mar Vacations. They sent too many texts and emails, and required a separate agreement be signed, and sent a super long text of rules that I didn’t see on the AIR BNB listing. Nothing became a problem, and the house is very good. Wonderful location. Clean. Plenty of bedrooms. I just didn’t like dealing with a second company.”airbnb

“Frozen in the 1950's. Go for the kitsch and to feel as if you're in a rich man's 50's vacation home. Do not go for comfortable mattresses, updated bathrooms, or working AC. While the kitchen had been updated, the bathrooms had not been. The shower door in the master bath needed repair and was inundated with mold and mildew. We could only get one of the three AC Splits to function. Bug baits were everywhere. The unit is in a fantastic neighborhood, quiet and close to the beach. Not too close to the hubbub of Province town, but not too far away either. If you do rent this place or anything else from Del Mar, be prepared for a marketing barrage via email, text, phone, and the copious number of pamphlets spread throughout the rental. We won't be returning to them for anything.”airbnb

“This property was great … or would have been but we were informed 3 days earlier, by email , that work would be carried out on properties near us, just painting, so shouldn’t be too disruptive. However they were walking on the roof feet above us at 7am fixing tiles to walls and roof. Also the road outside was being resurfaced for our entire stay so our car was blocked in unable to go anywhere on day trips. They did offer us alternative accommodation but these were not beach access which we wanted. So we stayed out all day after being woke at 7am on our vacation. So not restful. The property itself is very good but I’m not convinced that the company only got notification on this few days before. We should have been informed and offered a reduced rate. I am still waiting to back from the company regarding some refund compensation which was “ being looked into” I realise these things happen but I feel we should have been informed at time of booking weeks ago not days before.”airbnb

“This was supposed to be a very special occasion and my partner's only request when we picked a place was a hot tub, which was the reason we chose this rental. Due to previously undisclosed maintenance, the hot tub was not usable on the first night of a two-night stay. The rental company was pretty dismissive about this issue, but ultimately committed a $125 reimbursement--which they have informed me will not arrive until after it is too late for me to leave a review. At this point, I am skeptical about the chances of receiving the reimbursement. There are plenty of hosts who do care about the vacation experiences that we all scrimp and save to have, but this company isn't one of them.”airbnb
