“We booked our stay about an hour before we got there because we had originally booked three hotel rooms for our visit to Hyannis. Unfortunately, the hotel rooms had mold and we had to find a place that could host our larger group size + 2 dogs! Del Mar had a house available and we were so grateful! The house itself was very impressive- you would not expect the true size of it from looking at the front. It did seem they were in the middle of construction on some parts of the house (basement mainly), though we did not mind since we were just grateful to have a space, it was a little unexpected. That said, the only dissapointment, if you could call it that, was the downstairs bathroom, which needed a heavy sand and repainting job- but it could be on the list they have! Overall, we loved the house and would certainly go and stay there again! They had a few little touches that were great; dog bowls, coffee pods, spices, magazines, etc! Thank you for letting us enjoy the property!”

“14 family members were satisfied with this beautiful place. Exactly same as described including the bugs like the owner mentioned. We were also happy with how well everything was equipped, including the furniture, the cleaning status, and the kitchen tools. Everything was good quality and well organized. The only downside was that there were so many bugs, we couldn't really enjoy being outside. One thing that I wanted to mention was the room with the four single beds above the garage. I did not have a bathroom, and the room had an unpleasant smell and wasn't comfortable or inviting. As a result, we weren't able to use that room either. Everyone in our family had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!”

“Although the photos made it look sparkling new, the property actually is quite tired. The bed in the master bedroom has a wooden plank under the mattress instead of a box spring (hello college!), and the mattress was very saggy. Much of the furniture and the cabinetry was old and chipped. In addition to central air, the bedrooms have window units, so you are unable to get any fresh air, and the windows that were able to be opened were very difficult to open and it was clear from the debris that no one had cleaned them in awhile, if ever. The shower caddy in the master bedroom was placed in such a way that you could not move the shower head, so you had to move over to almost the wall to get wet. The stoppers In both bathroom sinks did not work well enough to maintain the water level, and the towel rack in the 2nd bathroom fell off the wall. The outdoor table and chairs were absolutely filthy, and the table rusted. A fuse blew and we had to root around in the basement to reset it.”
