“We had a great stay on Spruce Head Island!! It was off season, so I think we were the only tourists on the island, but it was quiet and peaceful. We were still able to buy lobsters right from a boat as it came into the harbor to offload. We also loved Aphrodite Oysters -- we had a LOT while we were there! The house was amazing! It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully loaded. We had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this beautiful place to stay to enjoy the area!”

“I had a really nice, relaxing "unplugging" weekend at this awesome property. Located on a small island that is connected to mainland Maine by a very short bridge (like a few hundred feet), it is a spacious, clean, modern, well-equipped rental. The crowning jewel is the hot tub on a completely private, second-level deck, with a view to the water, and 100% secure as there are no stairs to the ground and you enter from inside the property. I probably soaked six times in one short weekend. The place is tucked away from the bustle of cities and even larger villages but still within easy driving distance of everything (I was in Bath in like 65 minutes). Highly recommend.”

“Chimerique is a beautiful and comfortable home for a larger group. The views are stunning, very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable spaces. The owner’s antiques and art work add to the home’s warmth. Most beds are quite high, so be aware of on the shorter side or physically challenged. Grounds and neighborhood offers nice walks from the house. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving get together!”
