We enjoyed our stay! A nice, clean, quiet place to stay on Mt Desert Island.

Wonderful location. Fairly outdated but wonderful place to stay given that you want to be outdoors while in Seal Harbor anyway.

Good location close to Jordan Pond. Private, peaceful cute cabin home ideal for those planning long days in the park. The space is loft style with both bedrooms on upper level atop a set of a narrow, steep stairs. This would have been helpful knowing before booking this trip with our elderly parents. Laundry available and kit provided including detergent which we greatly appreciated but the laundry room is in a separate area with limited lighting in which we were somewhat uncomfortable with.

Home is in quiet neighborhood within Acadia Nat’l Park. Much older home with some updates. Ramp to entrance and first floor bedrooms/bathroom would be wheelchair accessible if needed. 4 BR/2Bath extension of a larger home (separated by locked door). Expect because of location (beautiful but woodsy) lots of bugs make their way inside in warmer weather. Appliances are older but worked well. Window units keep bedrooms inside cool in summer but are quite loud and there are fans for common areas. Clean but rustic overall which is difficult to see by pictures/description. Lots of trailheads within short walking distance of home if you’re traveling to see Acadia National Park.
