“My sister and I enjoyed a beautiful stay during a painting workshop in Tenants Harbor and nearby Cushing, home to Andrew Wyeth’s grave and the place of the very famous “Christina’s World” painting. The area is stunning and the cottage has the very best views imaginable of the entrance to Tenants Harbor. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrise views and sailboats and lobster boats passing through. The cottage is well equipped and ideally priced for two couples, a little steep for just two of us, but it was mid-August high-season. Beds were very comfortable and linens were plush. The kitchen is well appointed and furniture very comfortable for lounging and enjoying the view. Pro-tip: bring an HDMI chord to attach to your phone or tablet so you can stream from your device on the smart TV. We liked everything about the place and wish we could have stayed longer. The code to the lockbox was a little tricky, but if that’s the only nit-picky complaint, then clearly this is a terrific place to stay.”

“Wonderful stay with friends in St. George. Listing exceeded expectations. Spacious. well thought out design and nice touches for items that you may have forgotten (beach chairs, backpacks, makeup wipes). Kitchen had everything you needed and the bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate. . No A/C but we didn’t need it. We just opened windows in the evening to cool down the house. Would definitely stay again!”

“First the view and location are worth the price. Sit on the deck and observe the goings on of a working lobstering harbor while eagles soar above you and butterflies visit the flower filled garden. If you like to walk a nice beach and Marshall point lighthouse are both just about a mile away .. or a short drive. Port Clyde is a gorgeous small town with just enough. It is also home to the Monhegan Island ferry (again you can walk to terminal). A visit to the island is well worth the trip for art and spectacular scenery. Other mid coast sites a pleasant drive through gorgeous scenery (Owls Head, Rockland etc). Second, this is place is what I would call a grandparents’ home (if you were lucky enough to have grandparents with a vacation spot). It is full of collectibles, old board games, and not sleek and new. You can sense the meals served at the large dining table overlooking the wonderful view and spectacular sunsets.”
