“This house is in a great location. It is very quiet and there are a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance. This is a great location to travel to sites like the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay Harbor and the Pemaquid Point lighthouse. The house is beautiful- it is filled with sunlight from the wall of windows.”

“We gave this property a 5 star review because it’s not every day you can stay in an historic landmark. Truly amazing history in this 220 year old sprawling house, and it was just fun to be a part of it. They should leave some period piece clothes for you to roam the halls in the evening so that onlookers think there are ghosts… and there might very well be! Staying in a place like this requires some caveats - the WiFi is pretty weak, the furnishings are old, and as a tall fella I had to duck in the shower. But the house is spotless, the beds comfy enough, and there is limited cable and streaming in the living room. What more could you ask for? I recommend the house for a stay, and read up on the history before you arrive.”

“Location, location, location! It was so nice to stay on a quiet street in the pretty little village of Wiscasset, easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants that make this place famous. Indeed, it was easy to pick up lobster rolls at world-famous Red's Eats and walk back home with them, enjoying them in comfort rather than in the heat of Red's patio. The house was super clean and extremely comfortable. It had everything one could need on vacation. We were so happy to return there at the end of each day exploring! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better place from which to explore mid-coast Maine.”

“Fantastic house! Absolutely great location, easy to walk in downtown Wiscasset. House is so much more that we expected. It was perfect for our family getaway. Kitchen was spectacular - with every pot, pan, utensil and serve wear you could possibly imagine! Views from living room and 3 bedrooms, upper loft sleeps 4 comfortably and is a great space for a young family to stay with their own small kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor areas are great spots to gather as well. Would highly recommend this to anyone coming up to this area.”
