Manager Review

Sleepover

Sleepover's guest rating of 4.58 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

We were in town for my mom’s funeral. I chose this place because of its proximity to my sister’s house. I will not rent this space again. I felt is was overpriced for what I got. Pros: Shower has great water pressure Building is quiet (unit 402 faced the back parking lot) Close to I-235, gas station, and restaurants Queen bed is comfortable Cons: Mold on shower curtain liner The laundry detergent had a fragrance - so the bedding smell bothered me Couch is actually a day bed - the first picture of the couch is not the actual couch. Stains on day bed cushion, broken slats and some slats not affixed. Day bed is uncomfortable - no bedding to use as a bed (which we needed to do). Sparse and tired space - could use a refresh and some attention to detail The door to the unit was hard to open. Lock was hard to open. Easy to use the code but then it wouldn't unlock due to the door not always aligning. No inside deadbolt. Hallway (unit was on 4th floor) and elevator carpet was always dirty

BEWARE! MAJOR MOLD/MILDEW PROBLEM. Needs a huge professional treatment if not full roof replacement to become safe again. Had to take the issue to AirBnb’s resolution center to get our refund. Even if there hadn’t been such a safety issue because of that, the space was dingy/grimey; gave totally incorrect instructions/photos for where to find this specific unit - it’s halfway around the backside of the building and you can’t see any semblance of it from the parking lot; bath towels were small, scratchy and thin you could see straight through them; lamp switches were broken; SUPER BRIGHT parking lot lights that stayed on all night with no curtains or blinds to obscure on any windows; clearly an unsafe area with several loud crashes and screams around the dumpsters in the parking lot throughout the night into the early morning. They tout their 24hr customer service but became unresponsive around 11pm. Which is reasonable… if you’re not promoting your 24hr help as a selling point, lol.

My daughter & I were so looking forward to going to the pool when we checked in and then going there the next day until time to go to the wedding for which we were in town only to find it closed. A pool should be accessible in July, especially if it was an advertised amenity. The couch was horribly uncomfortable and there were blinds missing which allowed the lightening through when it stormed that night. I reserved for 3 people and were given 2 towels, 2 wash cloths and 1 hand towel. (Bath mat?- we used our pool towels) Also the towels were thin and barely went around me & I'm petite. So we purchased towels, thankfully Walmart was close. The shower liner had mildew, which are cheap and could be easily replaced.

The place was nice but our 3 night outta 4 one of the shower pipes bursted and the house flooded and we had to leave early the owner refused to refund us for the inconvenience because they claimed it was nothing mejor but Airbnb was hopefully for us getting our refund

You get what you pay for, which isn’t much. No microwave or cleaning supplies. I stayed for a week. They tried to charge me with things I didn’t do. I’ve stayed at many places and this was at the bottom.

I was unable to stay at this horrible property, me and my wife were threatened with violence immediately upon arrival, there was open drug sales clearly happening in the parking lot in front of the unit. we then let the host know at this point we were not comfortable to stay for 11 days and they said we’re sorry that’s not our problem and there is no refund if you decide not to stay. also if you write a poor review for this issue we will open a case against you with Airbnb for retaliation, “have a great stay” So they stole $1,300 from me and I’m still fighting to get something back.. this host also has other properties with similar experiences,, I think this host and cohosts should not be allowed to host on Airbnb if they are consistently hosting slum properties.. an Airbnb shouldn’t allow a no refund policy for hosts like this.

This was my 99th Airbnb stay and easily one of the worst. Unit smelled like cigarettes and was completely empty no amenities at all nothing to cook with no glasses except a couple assorted coffee cups. There’s a pipe coming out of the ceiling over the shower that dumps mystery water on your head when you try to shower. The hosts left two dish towels in the bathroom and just pretended they were bath towels. The complex is not safe at all. There were two different home invasions in the complex during my 30 day stay. The bbq grill had been fully destroyed. Multiple different homeless people who were sitting at the bottom of the stairs to the unit asked me to drive them somewhere. Groups of teenage boys wandering the unit saw them looking into my car windows multiple times. Almost stepped on a syringe that was left next to my car one morning. Also massive speed bumps throughout the parking lot that no matter how slow you drive they bounce your car.

In the years of me using Airbnb, I’ve never had a bad experience until this stay. The photos look great, but the actual stay is disgusting. It’s an apartment complex. The parking lot is dark, water leaking everywhere, it smelled like trash/marijuana everywhere. To get to the room was scary, especially with a child. The price I paid is not what I or anyone else should pay. Airbnb shouldn’t be affiliated with places such as this one. My original reservation was another location and 3 weeks before the date I was notified of a changed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” without much explanation. I was given another reservation at the location we stayed… had I known it was going to be like that, I would’ve never accepted. Then, the day of check in, 20 minutes before 4:00 (check in time) I was given another notification of another changed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” I had no other choice , but to accept because I was there already. The host was apathetic, the amenities were not great.

Everything was great.Besides the fact the three amenities I wanted and specifically looked for in my search was pool, hot tub, and grill we're not accessible, which really upset me, considering we were having a staycation and thought we would enjoy a hot tub, a pool and be able to grill.I couldn't do any of those things like the post showed. if you read other reviews, it talks about how dirty the couch is. They still haven't cleaned the couch. I really want some of my money back. I don't think this was fair anyway. Shape or form.
