We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location. It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed how close the apartment was to things we wanted to do in Austin.

This was my 99th Airbnb stay and easily one of the worst. Unit smelled like cigarettes and was completely empty no amenities at all nothing to cook with no glasses except a couple assorted coffee cups. There’s a pipe coming out of the ceiling over the shower that dumps mystery water on your head when you try to shower. The hosts left two dish towels in the bathroom and just pretended they were bath towels. The complex is not safe at all. There were two different home invasions in the complex during my 30 day stay. The bbq grill had been fully destroyed. Multiple different homeless people who were sitting at the bottom of the stairs to the unit asked me to drive them somewhere. Groups of teenage boys wandering the unit saw them looking into my car windows multiple times. Almost stepped on a syringe that was left next to my car one morning. Also massive speed bumps throughout the parking lot that no matter how slow you drive they bounce your car.

The apartment itself was fine. Other than the roaches and sticky floors it was organized. The bed was soft and comfortable. The main issue was the area. Car alarms were blasting for three straight days. The soundproofing was bad. You could hear everything as clear as you would hear if you were outside. The neighborhood itself didn’t feel very safe. The exit gate never closed until my fourth day there and as I was going into the complex one night someone was yelling at my car. Couldn’t stay the whole trip because of all the issues and basically begged for a refund but got denied without any compromises offered. I had about a week left in my reservation when I left and they didn’t bother to even try to help me out.

The space is good overall. However, you should wear slippers or shoes indoors because some parts of the floor are sticky. There’s a yellow substance on the toilet door, and the kitchen has a bad smell. There’s also a slight weed smell, but it’s not too bad once you ventilate the room. The cookware needs to be replaced. Everything is painted, but it might be moldy inside. I noticed some black stains inside the paint next to the tub. The worst part is at night. Something is making a high-pitched noise that’s loud enough to keep me awake. Owner never replied after acknowledged issues about smell and little bugs coming in.
