Sleepover in Springfield, Missouri

“Unfortunately, we were not able to stay in this place. Upon walking in, it had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the whole apartment. The host was very quick to respond and even offered to clean the place again which I appreciated, but it was far too strong of a smell to have made a difference. The furniture and apartment itself also just felt a bit grimy and old, which is very opposite of the fresh and clean vibes that the pictures show. The area felt pretty sketchy even during the day, so I am sure that the night would have not been great. We didn’t end up staying more than 20 minutes at the house because the odor of cigarettes was so strong. With some deep cleaning and maybe repainting maybe the place could be better, but we were very disappointed with the place and it made our time in Springfield very difficult as we had to try to find last minute accommodations.”
