Manager Review

CozySuites

CozySuites's guest rating of 4.54 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The stay was very basic, with minimal amenities and little beyond a bed, TV, and couch. We were also charged extra for parking on the property, otherwise the alternative was still paid parking with a 20+ minute walk. That said, the apartment was clean and the company was very responsive. They also provided detailed instructions for accessing the apartment, which was definitely helpful since the location was very difficult and lengthy to reach. The biggest advantage is the location, especially being so close to the baseball stadium and football arena. However, overall, a hotel would likely provide more comfort and amenities for a similar experience.

There was water dripping on ceiling in bedroom from unit above. Floors were dirty and needed mopping. Walls were scuffed. Gaps around fire sprinklers and light fixtures. Lobby area was dirty, to include walls and floors - there was trash left behind.

The place is perfectly fine and well located. However; the check-in and communication is excessive and riddled with friction. It is way more onerous than a hotel. They ask you to verify ID with pictures, confirm your name through a 3P portal, and provide excessive amounts of information. This is way worse than a hotel from a check-in/check-out experiencel; it feels like a paranoid landlord. All I want is to book through Airbnb and get an access code; I don't see why I need to jump through hoops to get a passcode.

Well, they did it again. We decided to extend our stay for a week and saw that their 4th floor putting green view unit was available per their website. We wanted to avoid a move out of the building, so we rolled the dice. Once again, they put us in a ground-floor unit, but this time our patio was two feet from the parking lot! When we complained, we got the same response; the room we reserved wasn’t available and that per their website we aren’t guaranteed the room we reserved. Our smaller, darker, ground floor unit with one bathroom sink and a car bumper/exhaust pipe view isn’t comparable to a 4th floor putting green view with more windows/light and two bathroom sinks. It’s a bait and switch, which Airbnb prohibits. Every time we used the putting green, it was covered in dog crap. Every damn time. They’ll say they aren’t responsible, but they advertise and charge for the amenities, so they absolutely are. If you stay with them, you likely won't get the room you reserved.

This place was dirty, parking is not convenient, gym is in a different building, trash removal was a pain. Unit was not well appointed with dishes or furniture. No TV in the bedroom? The hallways smell terrible like dog pee, trash and weed.

Needed ear plugs, non-stop drilling or bad pipes. No sleep for 2 nights. Awful experience

Place as described. THC was left on the floor. Sent photo to host and they didn't acknowledge it. I traveled with kids ages 2 and 1. This could have ended badly for my family.

This was an awful experience. We were told we could check in at 3:30 and when we arrived at 3:30 the room still wasn’t ready. Once it was ready at 3:45 the code to the room wouldn’t work. Messaged host and all they said was to just wait until 4:00. Spent 30 minutes just standing outside the room. The room itself wasn’t the cleanest and definitely not worth the price. We were only staying the night so we figured we’d deal with it however we couldn’t even sleep thanks to a false fire alarm. It took someone over an hour to finally shut the alarm off. Asked for a full refund for the terrible experience and was only offered a $60 refund. I would not recommend staying at this property.

Unfortunately, I would not advise people staying at this Airbnb residence. I've been using Airbnb for over 10 years, and I've never had such a poor service, such an unsafe location, such hidden fees and requirements outside of the site, such useless responses, and such a dirty and run-down place. There were at least 10 pages of instructions outside of the application and required sensitve ID info, which meant I couldn't check-in and had to wait. There were people loitering at the entrance at night and in the morning which made me feel unsafe as a woman traveling alone. The bathroom shower was not cleaned at all; there were dings all over the walls; the thinnest blanket with no duvet cover; and flickering lights in the hallways that looked like strobes. No one was present on the premises; they offered no names online and the conversation felt AI-generated; they had no where to store luggage; hidden fees for early check-in; and were generally rude. Please look elsewhere in Pittsburgh.
