“Had to call multiple numbers to get someone to answer, actually find our reservation, give us lock code, and unit #. Numbers provided by Kees didn’t give us anything but no answer and someone who had “never heard of Kees (after hours number). Once in unit air conditioner didn’t work. Having my daughter with us for a couple of days (she has a condition where her body can not regulate too hot of temperatures) got us AC service the next day which we were grateful for. Supposed to have till 10 to be out of the unit on day of checkout, yet some one came multiple times to see if we were out yet starting at 8:30am. Overall a decent experience, just aggravations that kept it from being a good experience.”

“We stayed at Tidewater Tranquility from May 13–17, 2026. The home itself was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by an internet outage that caused the TVs to stop working and prevented our devices from connecting. On our checkout day, we were also awakened at 5:15 a.m. by a smoke detector chirping in the bedrooms, which continued until we checked out at 10:00 a.m. I reported both issues through the Kees Vacations app and was told management would be notified. After hearing nothing, I called several days later and was told no complaint had been filed. Even after providing screenshots of my original report, I never received a resolution or follow-up. The property was nice, but the lack of communication and customer service was disappointing, especially given the cost of the stay. I would have appreciated a simple acknowledgment of the issues and some effort to address our concerns after the fact.”

“Very comfortable arrangement - quiet corner condo was perfect for a weekend getaway! Instructions on trash and other amenities could've ben more clear - but overall absolutely would recommend. Responsive and thoughtful hosts, beautiful condo, easy to find and great experience!”

“Had an amazing time here! The host was super friendly and provided a lot of helpful information. The area was beautiful and it’s a 30 ish minute walk to most places in the area. Unfortunately the pool was closed while we were there but other than that we had every thing we needed!”

“Bring extra towels. Not enough towels. The place was very clean and beautiful! Peaceful and quiet. I would stay again!”

“Door code provided was incorrect when we arrived after a 10 hour car ride very frustrating! Leak under sink pouring water out the first night & it was fixed the next day. My son got stuck in the bathroom because the locks where to hard for him to unlock they seemed to stick. Missing blanket on one of the beds had to DoorDash one our first night.”

“Nice location, however unit had stained bedsheets, a broken toilet seat, toilet was also clogged and mold on the shower curtain. Wouldn’t stay here again”

“This is nothing like the photos. Outside had stray cats, a filthy couch with no cushions, trash, and junk. The lodging appeared clean inside until further inspection. Massive stains on the bed, bed sheets smelled like a man and trash on the floor. Some buildings had blinds that were broken and overall not a quality place. We did not stay here due to this and had to find other accommodations with a toddler and infant!”

“Our room was 80 degrees when we walked in, the AC did not work or was heating uncontrollably. We arrived after 5pm and there was no one around to help or respond to messages, once they responded at 9am we were on the way out. Had to sleep with the window open which felt very unsafe but the heat was unbearable otherwise. Would definitely recommend arriving before 5pm so you can have any issues sorted out before the staff clocks out.”

“They did not clearly define and do their part to uphold the rules of their contract. They waited until after check in to verify their age rule that is not the same as the law of HOA.”
