“Unfortunately, our experience at this house was very disappointing. When we arrived, the house was dirty and clearly had not been properly prepared for guests. All of the bed linens were dirty, and we had to buy laundry detergent and wash everything ourselves. On top of that, the spa did not work at all during our entire stay, which was extremely disappointing, especially since it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to using. The worst part was that we had to stay up until very late at night cleaning and organizing the house just so we could actually use it comfortably. We should not have to spend our own time and money cleaning a property that we already paid to stay in. We expected much better considering the amount we paid. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this property and hope the owners improve the cleanliness, maintenance, and preparation of the house before hosting future guests.”

“The property has a great location and lots of room with comfortable beds. However, this property needs a deep clean, maintenance inside and outside, update to landscape and overgrown shrubs among other things. I took a chance on this property and wish I wouldn’t have, lesson learned.”

“The location of this house is excellent. Being just steps from the ocean with a pool in the backyard is exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For the price of this rental, the overall condition and maintenance of the home are extremely disappointing. Several items throughout the house are broken or badly worn, making it clear that the property has not been properly maintained. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. We had to spend our entire first evening thoroughly cleaning the house before we felt comfortable staying there. That’s completely unacceptable for a vacation rental at this price point. This is our second year renting this property. There were a few maintenance issues last year, but the condition of the home has noticeably worsened since then. Instead of improving, it seems the property is continuing to decline. With the amount charged for this rental, the owners or management company should be reinvesting in maintenance, repai”

“Deeply dissatisfied with our recent stay. If I could give this host zero stars, I would. While the location & access to the beach was nice the way the host handled all of the issues that we encountered during our stay was awful. During our entire stay, a major advertised amenity (elevator) did not work. This was a huge inconvenience on our party, particularly on our handicapped guests who were unable to enjoy the vacation & were confined to a single floor. To make matters worse, the host did not seem to treat this as an emergency & failed to follow up with us to let us know if or when a technician was coming. Additionally, the fire dept. had to come to the property because the fire alarms were nonstop. The property was dirty upon arrival & the cleaning crew remained there for over an hour after check-in time. Several other issues including loose & wobbly beds that felt unsafe to sleep in, refrigerators that did not cool & empty propane tanks. we will never be renting with Kees again”

“We stayed her just for a night with my in laws. We checked in right at 4 ans noticed the bathroom had no soap. We messaged quickly and they would be on way to address. Also one of the TV was missing the roku so was not usable. We called and messaged multiple times and they just replied were working to address it. I asked for a discount since the basics of our stay was not provided. And again a generic reply but no action. Im disappointed that we didnt get what we paid for.”

“The location is great for us we like to drive the beach and stay the day with our son. As far as the property itself Kees property management is horrible. We checked in and found that the AC did not work in the condo. We notified the property through air bnb and were met with minimal response. Their only fix was a small 10” fan and stated they had made a work request and would let us know when someone was coming to fix the ac. We had to change our first day morning plans due to the property saying they would send someone the next day to fix the ac. No one ever showed up and no response was made by the property management to even let us know they were not fixing the ac. When I called and spoke directly to a phone operator for the property and asked for a refund on our stay they informed me that It was a lengthy process and we might not even get anything back. We were in town 6hrs from home and had no where else to go for 5 days with no ac.”

“Pros: - Quiet - Fenced in - Swimming Dock - Stocked Kitchen - Crab Traps - Sun Room - Dual Temp Shower heads - Games / Puzzles - Outside Shower Cons: - BAD AC - Average temp in room 75 degrees. Spent first night at 85 degrees inside. No solution until second night. Portable AC brought. Blocked sliding doors = no more use of the doors. 2 ACs and 3 fans to keep 72 degrees. Other part of house same situation- 75 Degrees. Cut vacation short on last day due to extreme temps and temp solution failing. (Communication was doubled with text and messages despite not actually solving our issue) - Doors don’t close / lock (Breeze way in both directions and back slider in main house) had to use a hair tie to hold doors closed or the wind opened them.”

“Do not book this house — filthy, neglected, and full of broken hazards. We arrived to a dirty, unsafe house. Most rooms had trash, including food waste, and one shower still had a used razor blade and a used bar of soap from a previous guest. The problems went beyond cleanliness: • Two showers have rusted, broken grab bars. • The middle-floor deck door has no handle — it rusted off — and several of us got locked out on the balcony. • The pool was filthy. The pump and sand filter were running, but the water was full of debris all week. • The third-floor dryer wouldn’t turn on. • The outdoor sink/cabinet was rotting and falling apart, and the sinks didn’t work. • The grill didn’t work either. They’d offered an early check-in, so there was time to prepare the property. It simply wasn’t done. I would not recommend this house to anyone.”

“The outside trash was swarming with cockroaches at night and we were visited with one live cockroach. Upon further inspection we found many dead cockroaches behind furniture and in the closets. The sink it the bathroom had basically no water pressure making simple tasks like washing your face or brushing your teeth difficult. There were stains on the sheets in the bedroom and a stain in the shower. The kitchen had a very odd microwave/oven which was not described in the listing and there were no instructions in the guidebook on how to operate. The cookware was also dirty and very very old. If it had been clean and not infested with cockroaches it would have been a very nice place to say considering the proximity to the marina and beaches.”

“This place had bugs everywhere and stains on the bed sheets. It also didn’t have amenities like shower gel stalked up and so we had to buy that and bug spray just to sleep.”
