“This house was wonderful for our friends trip to OBX. The house was super clean and the layout was spacious for our group. The walkability to the beach was amazing and the house had beach materials we used (cart and chairs). The indoor showers were slightly outdated but that didn’t matter too much because we prefer to shower outside. The kitchen could use some upgrades in terms of the knives (very dull) and baking sheets (only one) but other than that it was adequately stocked. The views of the water were fantastic and the beds were comfortable. Will likely book this house again.”

“Do Duck Inn was the perfect end of summer beach getaway for our little family of 5! We had more than enough room at the house, and the kids loved being able to walk to the beach and all the shops! We can’t wait to come back next summer!”

“Overall, the location was great and the house was spacious. There were a few downfalls; the kitchen could use more supplies and instructions for the TVs. None of the TVs were working in the house. You would use one remote for one room and it would be running another TV in the another room they would continuously shut off. we asked for maintenance. Someone finally did come, but as we were leaving, we also had other maintenance people show up without our knowledge for fixing stairs at the house we would’ve liked to be made aware of this beforehand. It was a bit invasive another huge issue while it is out of homeowners control was the flies at any given time there was about 15 to 20 flies around you whether you were inside or outside it made it nearly impossible for us to have food left out or to even enjoy a meal inside. we had to purchase fly traps and our own TV to be able to watch any sort of TV. It was a bit disappointing in the flies and bugs were offputting. Perhaps pest control.”

“Paws & Relax in Kitty Hawk was a great place to get together with family. Spacious and great view of the ocean. Very short walk to the beach (5 minutes)…downfall was the little things: much of the advertised beach gear was not there; broken appliances, broken poolside chairs; grill was very dirty we had to clean it to use it. More bath towels and paper products should be available for guests…we would go again with the hope that some of these things would be addressed.”
