“Unfortunately, our experience at this house was very disappointing. When we arrived, the house was dirty and clearly had not been properly prepared for guests. All of the bed linens were dirty, and we had to buy laundry detergent and wash everything ourselves. On top of that, the spa did not work at all during our entire stay, which was extremely disappointing, especially since it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to using. The worst part was that we had to stay up until very late at night cleaning and organizing the house just so we could actually use it comfortably. We should not have to spend our own time and money cleaning a property that we already paid to stay in. We expected much better considering the amount we paid. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this property and hope the owners improve the cleanliness, maintenance, and preparation of the house before hosting future guests.”

“The property has a great location and lots of room with comfortable beds. However, this property needs a deep clean, maintenance inside and outside, update to landscape and overgrown shrubs among other things. I took a chance on this property and wish I wouldn’t have, lesson learned.”

“To be honest I will likely not be back. The fact that I had to kill over 20 spiders and flies inside the house, webs and algae all outside (indicating no power wash for months), lack of shampoo and soap in dispensers, and having pillow covers that don’t even fit the pillows it was not a good experience. We probably left the house cleaner than when we first walked in. Very disappointing.”

“Myself and 10 friends stayed here for a week and had a great experience! The location was perfect, about a 10-minute walk to the beach, with trails, shops, restaurants and ice cream nearby. We had 5 couples and loved that everyone had a king bed. There was plenty of space and communication was easy. We hoped for an early check-in since most of us left around 4 a.m. since we live 7 hours away to beat OBX traffic, but unfortunately weren’t able to get one. A few minor things: the kitchen could use more pans, the grill propane ran out during our stay, and while the house was clean, there were some signs of it being a pet-friendly home. Overall, a great value for a large group! We loved Corolla and really enjoyed our first OBX trip together. We’d definitely recommend it to other groups looking for a spacious, affordable place close to the beach and everything Corolla has to offer!”

“Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The location is in a perfect spot with only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house has plenty of room for a big family.”
