Manager Review

Global Luxury Suites

Global Luxury Suites's guest rating of 4.40 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The location is great, and the apartment itself is comfortable, but pest issues and awful support from the host ruined my stay. During my stay on the first floor, a huge swarm of ants came in through the windows, and I found cockroaches in the kitchen. Support was extremely slow to respond, and their only "solution" was scheduling pest control for the exact day I was checking out, which was completely useless. The only reason this stay was not a total disaster was the lovely receptionist. According to her, she wasn't affiliated with the host at all, but she kindly stepped in and moved me to another room so I could spend my last two days in peace. Great location, but terrible communication from the host and zero support when real issues arose.

No this is the worst stay at a corporate apartment I’ve ever had. No WiFi, broken things in the room. Pealing paint, dirty bathroom

It’s a newly constructed place with terrible management. AC/Hot Water/Toilet were all broken at various parts of my stay and had to move a grand total of 3 times and terrible communication with the management. I kept getting told to call a number but horrible customer service would pick up. I received no discount or coupon for all my troubles. They also said there was a gym on the listing, but nope - still in construction. Ended up paying $150 in gym fees elsewhere….

I have never had a worse check in experience.. the photos are not the apartment you get.. there was no mention that parking is $80-$100 a day. My room was not ready for check in and host forgot to take my room key to the front desk I had to wait 2.5 hours and call 5-6 times to be taken seriously . I was hung up on by the host when communicating my frustrations of the check in .

This has been the worst experience with an apartment all due to the lack of transparency and customer service from Global Luxury. Do not believe the pictures from this place. The apartment is very old, dirty, has a very strong cigarettes smell and the state of the bathroom is appalling. I am pretty sure the bathroom was not clean. The toilet is broken. The shower has excessive rust. To make matters worse, Global Luxury Suites' customer service is unprofessional. We ended up leaving after two days because they never addressed the issues. Their customer rep laughed at us and hanged up the phone on us. Luckily Airbnb supported us in this process and helped us find another place.

DO NOT STAY HERE - AT YOUR RISK! This corporation should be removed from AirBnB altogether!! See for yourself by Searching "Churchill Living Complaints", "Global Luxury Suites Complaints" & "Bluebird Hotels & Properties Complaints" - it's the same family conglomerate. From first-hand experience, I had to navigate each of these: "Misleading Representation, Communication Breakdown, Poor Notifications, Refused Refunds & Booking Changes, Cumbersome Verification, Missing Key/Entrance Access" and more! If you book & ever need to complain, here's the Org Chart (https : // www . churchillliving . com/legacy) & the email nomenclature is "FirstNameLastInitial @ churchillliving . com". At this property, the pictures are even of different buildings!! Pray you don't talk to "Ahmed" in the Finance Department. This is a siloed, disjointed, family business that disrespects, mistreats, & provides unfair work conditions for their front desk and everyday contracted staff.

In some ways 2 stars felt too harsh but 3 felt too generous, but after moving to a significantly better airbnb in every way just 2 blocks from here for 60% of the price I paid here, I think 2 is appropriate. Everything good at this apartment is “ok” - nothing that wows but there are several things that are not good. Communicating with the host was really frustrating because it’s a corporate and you are not talking to one person, and they communicate outside of airbnb through text and email. It took me 3 days to get instructions on where to leave the keys because they only sent an email saying where NOT to leave them and the $ penalty for not doing it right. Also the kitchen is infested with many tiny cockroaches, the trash chute was clogged on many days, and I was locked out of the apartment for 3 hours with no phone/wallet because the battery in the door lock died. The view from the living room is photoshopped. Cheap TV (cheap furnishing in general), with a roku that doesn’t work.

First check in day is Sunday, they did not provide the key to the front desk that allow me to enter. Had to live in the hotel right next door for 2 nights. Recommend they should have a spare key and give it to the front desk so when renters lock themselves out, they can give it to the renters
