Beachside Vacation Rentals

Beachside Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

A very smart developer built a great spot with Cape Crossing. Problem is where there is greatness unfortunately there is money to be made. Beachside Vacation Rentals and the HOA have turn it into a soulless margin conscious AI driven sadness. Hospitality is last place and margin is number 1. After 6 years consistently staying here I am not sure if I’ll come back again next year unless something changes. You’re never supposed to lose your OGs. Beachside succeeded in tarnishing a long standing lover of this location.

the bathroom and room were slightly dirty including hair in the bathtub and sand. We were not told there would only be one parking spot available, when we came with two vehicles we were told it needed to be moved for the remainder of the trip being 4 more days. There was very very minimal overnight parking anywhere near us that didn't cost over $100. The host told us too bad and said it needed to be moved after not communicating there was only one spot. The area is incredible and very close to the beach. Unfortunately, it was frustrating having to deal with the parking situation with no sympathy. Other than these issues, I would definitely say we had an amazing time, but deserved a bit better communication and cleanliness.

So bad we left a day early. Hair in the shower. Filthy furniture. Stained bath towels. Cheap pilled bath towels and wash clothes. Nothing boutique about it.

The condo was in a great location. The views were beautiful. Plenty of space for what we needed. . . . The condo was dirty. The floors hadn't been cleaned in a while. When my son got in the floor to play he was covered in black. We had to mop all the floors ourself anf the water was filthy when done. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed in awhile and were covered in stains. The furniture was also stained and beat up. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. No detergent for the dishwasher and they want you to do the dishes before you leave. Also the dishwasher falls out of the cabinet when you open the door. The walls have been spot painted here and there and look awful. Towels are all mismatch and had a smell. The shower handle in the master just spins around have to look for hot water. Couldn't use the garden tub because there wasn't enough hot water to fill it up. The kitchen and appliances were clean but there was a big hunk out of the top of the stove so we avoided that eye.

we watched a bug run behind the wall as soon as we walked in. the door doesn’t shut right and the jam was all rotted out not safe to lock and hard to unlock and her fridge takes 24 hours to cool off and she doesn’t want people messing with its setting and the ac freezes up and if it happens to you while your there you have to pay for a repair man there wasn’t enough parking so they told us to park our car across the street in a empty building parking lot and ig hope it’s not sitting on blocks the next morning or stolen

Place was beautiful but theres alot going on in the house. It was hot, air conditioning wasnt working. Had to run to store after driving 13 hours and buy batteries and fix something with air handler to get house cooled off, which took 2 days. Toilet downstairs was constantly running when we got there so we had to fix the toilet so it would stop running. Granted the owner sent someone the next day, actually 2 different people, still had to be fixed in middle of night just so we could sleep. Thankfully we brought fans. There is black marks and dirt all over walls. Dishes were dirty. When you opened the freezer door water poured out onto floor.

A walkable, clean place but what they called a pool was a large bonfire ring filled with sand.

Overall, we are completely dissatisfied with our experience. Upon arrival, there were other cars parked in our assigned parking. We were told to park in the street (majority is paid parking). The house was not cleaned adequately (dirty floors, hair on some of the sheets). The hot tub was filled with dirt, the water was cold, and the water level was low. Even after reaching out and having someone supposedly “service the hot tub”, it still did not work and was still dirty. We had noisy neighbors that we had to complain about more than once before the noise level was contained (at 4 in the AM!) Although we did enjoy the location of this place, there is so much competition in the area, and I did not appreciate the lack of resolution in our complaints. I would not recommend to anyone, nor would stay again.

This was the worst stay we've had with an air B&B. Found cock roaches. Broken kitchen drawers. Both bathrooms had leaks from the sinks. Pool water was green and commons area was dirty. Pool area is unsafe with a stair well to the pool room that goes below ground with no railings. If you have kids who love to climb and be adventurous, definitely a severe injury waiting to happen. Half the smoke detectors are missing in the unit and the fire extinguishers are expired. Dryer hadn't had lint trap cleaned in quite some time and was a potential fire hazard. Kitchen lights had the wrong kind of dimmer installed with the led lights and they would flicker non stop if you tried to dim. Furniture was very cheap and very uncomfortable. Kitchen bar stools were wobbly and had bolts falling out of them. The whole unit was a disaster, I would recommend to keep looking when it comes to finding a place to stay in this area.

If you want to be close to the beach, that's the only thing this place has going for it. I hate to leave bad reviews, but the impression we got when we first arrived was *rundown*. Within the first five minutes, a screen fell out of one of the windows, we noticed a broken headboard on one of the beds, and it looked like the kitchen cabinets were seconds away from falling off the ceiling. We were afraid to turn on the AC based on the state of the filthy vent covers. And come on, having to PAY $20 per hour for an early check-in or late check-out?! For real??? Every other hotel or Airbnb I've ever stayed at allows for time flexibility based on availability. I think it's ridiculous to charge for it if its available. The pool was dirty when we arrived, and while it was cleaned the next morning, there was very limited seating. Like I said, it was nice to be so close to the beach... But I recommend you look for that elsewhere.
