“As a result of the door being unlocked when I arrived and windows that could be pushed in from the outside without much force, I did not feel that Brooke could do anything to help me feel confident in her ability to rectify the matter. My trust was lost before I entered the townhouse. The only positive, Brooke was quick to respond to my messages.”

“This stay was nothing like I expected it to be. I had booked to stay for 5 days (Sunday-Friday) and drove down from NC. On Saturday I got a message saying there would be some minor construction happening near the pool but it shouldn’t affect my stay, as the amenities would remain open. That unfortunately was not the case. I was woken up before 8am on nearly every morning of our stay, in addition to being blocked to getting to our car/room and access to the beach was blocked. By the second day I reached out to the host to see if there was another accommodation or something we could move to because this was supposed to be a week of relaxation and it definitely wasn’t that. I waited nearly 2 full days to hear back..they kept saying someone from the management team would call me to discuss options. When I finally got some on the phone they offered to refund $80. I ended up reaching out to Airbnb to rectify the situation. It was a nightmare and I Do not recommend”

“I should have listened to the one other review that said to stay away from this place. It is not as it appears in the photos. The building itself is crumbling. Furniture in the unit was broken, broken windows, decor broken. Roaches. Also, they will ask you for additional fees after check out in order to get the door code. AVOID!”

“No beach gear was available except child size life jackets and towels. We did reach out to the host but and they said they would look in to the matter and get back with a resolution but never did. As we were there for 5 days we bought our own chairs and left them in the spot we were told we would find the beach gear so, hopefully the next guests can use them. Hopefully they can get this taken care of for future guests.”

“The unit was as pictured and the AC was dynamite especially after a day in the sun. BUT - Unsolicited renovations were ongoing at the pool the first four days of our stay. BVR blamed the lengthy time on rain. Everyone knows it rains everyday in FL. A week later it started up again with loud power saws. Getting time in the laundry room is a joke. We ended up sending our laundry out because we couldn’t wait any longer. Bedrooms only have a closet rod. No other storage or luggage rack to work with. The bedroom window screen is slashed and the windows are not sealed. When the downstairs neighbors grill, the smoke alarm goes off. The other bedroom door doesn’t close. The gasket around the front door is a joke with daylight all the way around it. Bugs inside were daily and the four NO SMOKING signs meant nothing to other visitors smoking outside our door while it billowed in. Is this property no smoking or not? I should have spent a bit more, given up the kitchen and stayed in a hotel.”
