Yonder Vacation Rentals

“I love the South Slope area of Asheville and this place is perfectly located to walk to great breweries and restaurants. Literally couldn’t get any closer to the minor league baseball stadium which is another neighborhood must do imo. Added bonus, taking in the Friday night ballpark fireworks from the rooftop! The place itself is spacious and well appointed. Super clean! The only complaint we registered was from my son who slept in the first floor bedroom. He said the street/ballpark noise can be a bit much. But the rest of the unit is separated enough that we didn’t notice quite as much. All in all, a really great place in a really great neighborhood!”

“Enjoyable stay”

“This was a beautiful little cabin. Unfortunately, it was not clean when I arrived, and I had to wait for the cleaners to come and clean the home after traveling all day. It is quite frustrating to arrive at check in to a dirty house.”

“Overall, we had a good stay & found this to be a great space for the length of our trip. The biggest advantage is definitely the location, it was within walking distance of several restaurants, breweries, & shopping, making it easy to explore the area without needing to drive everywhere. The space was quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, & no issues finding street parking during our stay. A few things future guests may want to know: there were no hangers in the closet, so bring your own if you plan to hang clothes. We only had 2 towels for our stay so use sparingly. The front door lock was confusing, as it didn't automatically lock every time we left. We had to lock the handle from the inside before exiting. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward, particularly the shower setup. We also had some difficulty getting the ceiling fan and fan light remote to work consistently. None of these issues were deal breakers, and overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“A little pricey for a noisy area lacking views. Internet was sketchy and we had trouble with our key code.”

“Will be a 10/10 stay in a couple of months! Most of the surrounding houses are being built or under construction so there is lots of construction noise and vehicles currently! Otherwise it was a great place to stay and convienetly located just wish they had warned us about the construction!”

“Only complaints are wobbly furniture, fire pit is directly in the view of another house on the property, so that took away from the seclusion, and the front door lock wasnt the correct pass-code. We had to use the backdoor to get inside. Other than that.. nice place to sleep and close to amenities.”

“We stayed here with our adult son and his girlfriend, visiting Swannanoa for our grandson’s 2nd birthday. This property was perfect for our needs. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and the towels super plush. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only glitches were I did not have the front door code when I arrived, and there were no instructions on how to operate the thermostat. Yonder sends ALOT of email communication. The door code was not included in any of those emails. The Airbnb instructions referred me to the email. Argh. I had to call and then wait for someone to call me back. The thermostat was difficult to figure out. There are no instructions for how to change the settings the house manual. Only the warning to not set it below 70 or above 76. I had to call the after hours number for that and didn’t get a call back until the next day. Not a huge problem, but the house was 79 degrees inside and it was hot and humid outside.”
