“The place was cozy and nice, it’s just take some time for a real person to respond back.. And not sure why we need to sign for additional documents. But overall lovely place”

“This Airbnb is owned by a vacation rental company. They require a lot in order to book (license photo, face photo, signed rental agreement with 11 places to sign). Felt like it was a lot just for a one night stay at a multi unit building. The place itself was very cute! Set up with pretty good amenities too. Easy to get to.”

“Only one window in entire unit and that was on the entry stairs. Only one means of egress from the unit; as a first responder family, this was a HUGH concern. Pictures were misleading that showed no pictures of the access to the units. Preferred parking was extremely expensive. Unloading out front on Church St. is cumbersome having to get everything around back.”

“Overall nice and clean. Refrigerator needed to be wiped out but overall good. Secluded and private. Bed pretty comfortable. Had everything needed from towels to all kitchen items. Didn’t use the microwave or stove. Everything is exactly as the pictures. I didn’t have to run the AC the entire time because the weather was good for me. Although when I did, it kept coming on every 5 minutes and going off. So that was a little annoying. This place does have an “old” smell due to it being an older structure. I’m terrified of anything that crawls so I only saw one small spider in the bathroom. So that was a win for me. The screen door did tear one of my shirts because of the way that the hook is attached to the screen. This location is more secluded than what I wanted due to me being solo. You do need to drive to get to everything. But it is a nice place to stay as others have said.”

“Yonder’s instructions are not clear and consistent! They RECOMMEND an SUV but to rent this location, an SUV should be REQUIRED! I took a minivan to the location and could not reach the home due to not being to get up the deep terrain and the terrain was completely dry! Would not recommend this location if you do not have an SUV or 4 wheel drive vehicle!”

“I have stayed at this place before. The views are incredible. It is on a walkable dirt road off of Town Mountain Rd. Close to town. It's a beautiful place to stay. I do find the Yonder check in process pretty onerous, and the Wi-Fi did not work for the first 24 hours of my stay, which was needed for work and also meant we could not watch TV. They did bring in a hot spot on Saturday. Just kind of frustrating that I had to spend a great deal of time dealing with it. Should have been prepared for guests, given the price point.”

“I would not recommend, I had a medical emergency and was hospitalized on my way to the property, I let the property managers know, and was told "I hope you bought trip insurance", the property managing company refused to rebook, offer a partial discount, or put me in during off season. Paid 600$ for a property I didn't step foot on because I had an unplanned ER visit with no recourse, reached out and was told tough luck”

“Beautiful location in the heart of Asheville. The unit was nicely decorated. Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday nights are noisy with the bar a few doors down pumping loud music until well after midnight. The rental agency will charge you $50 for necessary items such as trash bags or toilet paper if you run out of either of those things rather than having the people who clean for them leave behind an ample supply. Beware and BYO TP. Parking is not included and will cost extra. Lovely view of College Street!”

“Unfortunately, my stay at this Yonder property in Asheville ruined my birthday trip. An unknown vehicle was at the property when we arrived, and we had not been told to expect anyone there. The hot tub was also dirty and unusable. We were initially told it had been cleaned, but Yonder later acknowledged that it had not. Despite raising the issue, no one came to clean it during our stay. We also experienced poor handling of my partner’s trained service animal. My partner is a military veteran. Yonder was unaccommodating and also claimed the property was not pet-friendly, even though it was advertised that way when we booked. I sent a screen recording showing where they listed it being pet-friendly and explained that it influenced our booking decision for excursions. After sharing that they stopped responding. The conflicting information, unusable amenity, lack of follow-through, & inhospitable communication made this such a disappointing stay. I would not book this property again.”

“The listing was described as follows when I booked this rental: “Peaceful and tucked in the woods-yet minutes to I-40 for easy day trips” “This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community” It also states it is a “relaxing setting” There is constant, very loud noise from the highway that can be heard on the back porch (which has the view of the mountains), and in the entire residence if the windows are open. This was quite unexpected based on the listing description. Before booking any listing with them, please review the Yelp reviews so you are fully informed on their unethical behavior and complete disregard for guest safety and customer satisfaction. I ended up leaving after the first night. Yonder has continued to deny my refund request for 6 nights and has admitted there is constant highway noise as evidenced by their edited listing, yet they continue to tell me that their listing was accurately described at the time I booked the listing.”
