“We loved the house and the area. Would stay here again.”

“Overall a very nice experience. Bedrooms were spaced out allowing for plenty of privacy. Master bedroom and bathroom were lovely, bed creaked at the slightest movement but mattress was comfortable. Housemates said their rooms were pleasant. Kitchen was beautiful and spacious. In the living room, the sofas were comfortable, though they showed considerable signs of wear. Rug was very worn, not in line with the luxurious feel of the home, and accidentally moving the edge revealed a substantial buildup of dirt. Otherwise, the home was clean and nicely decorated. It rained steadily during our stay, so unfortunately we weren't able to take full advantage of the outdoor space, but we did enjoy the hot tub for a bit one evening. Garage and mud room were convenient, especially with the wet weather. The drive up the mountain to the property is intense but worth it. I'd recommend this property, particularly for a multi-family vacation.”

“We had a nice stay and were very happy with the house. It was nicely equipped and furnished. The last stretch of the drive toward the house was on a gravel one lane road which we were able to travel just fine in a standard two wheel drive car (Toyota Camry). We followed the advice and parked in front of the home (a tight fit for up to three vehicles) and avoided using the steep driveway since that would have required a better vehicle to use. The house is situated in a peaceful location which was a 15 minute drive down the mountain to the town of Black Mountain (with shops, a grocery store, and some restaurants) and a further 20 min drive to Asheville. It was a nice experience.”
