Manager Review

Stay Hospitality

Stay Hospitality's guest rating of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

We booked their plantation property for 2 nights, 10 guest. It was a beautiful property with lots of amenities and accommodations, however the code we were given didn't work, so we had to use a backup. We experienced plumbing issues on the first day that forced all 10 guests into having to share a single bathroom for showers. The host was responsive resolved it the next day, unfortunately on that second day the AC also stopped working which ruined the rest of our stay once we stopped using the pool. The host was initially responsive, but became less so throughout the night, eventually saying they would send someone "first thing in the morning" which never happened since checkout was at 11am. Many of our guests left early because of the heat and sleeping was nearly impossible. The light in the master bedroom wouldn't turn off without also turning off the fan. We got a bug infestation in the same bathroom with the plumbing issues, and found small roaches in the kitchen and drawers.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived at the house the code they gave us didn’t work. We called and they gave us a new one. Upon entering the house was gorgeous. Very beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. Our first issue was that at night the pool lights didn’t turn on so we were in the darkness. I called and they told me they’d reach out to the owners and call us back… they never did. 2nd issue was the dryer didn’t work. It would turn off after a few minutes so it was hard to wash any clothes. 3rd issue was that we saw 2 baby roaches crawling around in the kitchen… this was unsettling. I know it’s Florida but no one wants to see baby roaches while at a very expensive stay. Overall the stay was nice but I do not think it was worth the price. We encountered alot of issues that made our stay not as great as we wanted. Also a lot of the lights that were shown in the photos didn’t work- even after trying the google home. Wouldn’t return most likely.

Overall, great location (close to Whole Foods, restaurants, and right above Trader Joe’s). There was heavy use of bleach and chlorine throughout the unit. Couldn’t sleep without an eye mask as eyes got very irritated due to chlorine, as well as had respiratory issues. Despite arriving at 10:30pm and messaging the host immediately, it wasn’t until morning 11am did cleaners arrive. They validated the heavy smell (despite leaving the patio door ajar, which would have let out some of the fumes/smell). The alternative option that the host provided was a non-comparable option (lower floor, not corner unit). And they wouldn’t refund the night given the health issues experienced, and validated of smell by their own cleaning staff. Would avoid this unit.

Before our flight, we were informed that the AC in the unit was broken, but were told it would be fixed by 3:30 PM. We arrived after 6 PM, and the temperature inside the apartment was still 81°F. Nothing had been repaired. I was staying there with my friend and two babies. We kept calling and following up for hours because the apartment was unbearably hot and the kids needed to sleep. Around 8 PM, we were told someone was finally coming. We saw maintenance arrive, but they left just a few minutes later without fixing anything. We repeatedly asked for another room because everyone was sweating and uncomfortable, especially the children. At first, we were told there were no available rooms. Then suddenly around 10 PM, they “found” another room for us. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. The apartment was extremely dirty — the carpets, floors, lamps, and overall condition looked like they had not been cleaned properly in a long time. There was even mold present. The floo

Our stay was a mixed experience. We stayed for 4 nights, the neighborhood was nice, and the unit was small but equipped with a kitchen and bathroom as expected. The host was relatively responsive, however we encountered lots of issues. 2 of us stayed there and the place was not set up for us, we arrived with 1 towel, drinking glass, etc. The unit was outdated with random spackling splotches on the walls unpainted, the cabinets that were old and peeling, and we had a hard time getting the shower to work well. Additionally, there were ants on the nightstands, dirt and hair in the corners of the room, and food-residue on the utensils and bowls in the cabinets. We communicated this to the host, and the host did deliver wine and drink glasses, however the food, dirt, and ants never got resolved. There was also a smell of mildew in the place. It was not a ideal stay, however, if you're only staying for a night or two and plan to eat out it might be a fit.

Stayed at the Aria 5 times. This unit needs a deep cleaning to make it a better option. Generally, dusty, worn appearance overall. Great location, but does not represent the best of Coconut Grove. Management was responsive after we waited 1 1/2 hours to get in the unit due to a dead battery in the lock. Called to have service to clean the unit, but all we got was some towels and a few individual soap bottles. Soap dispensersbin the unit were empty. Everyone was nice, but the service was lacking.

When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, so we were moved to a different one. Two days later, we discovered we couldn’t even enter the room we had booked originally because the lock was broken. For an entire day, we had no idea whether we would have a place to sleep that night. We ended up waiting in the lobby for three hours, doing nothing and rearranging our plans, only to later find out that the technician had been called just one hour earlier and fixed the door in ten minutes. There was very little communication with the host. Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing and smooth vacation, this is not the place to choose. After everything my friends and I went through, they only reimbursed us for one night.

I was in south Florida for a business trip the wk of 3/16 . I travel to that area regularly. My stay at this location was less than satisfactory. I arrived at the facility and found a man seating in a truck smoking cannabis and playing laude music. I walked into the room and encountered a horrible foul smell. The room was dirty. The rug was stained. Worse, the towels were also stained and there was NO HOT water. I called the office and explained the above. I was told to run the hot water for a few minutes. I ran the water for 10+ minutes. No Hot water. I called the facility and asked for assistance. My concerns were not addressed. I spoke with a female several times. I was quite frustrated and requested a refund. The woman avoided my question and kept apologizing ... Would not recommend this at all..

Be careful they have a no refund policy! No matter the situation or circumstances they will not help you at all with a refund. Due to a storm they cancelled our flight to Florida contacted them to explain and show proof of flight being cancelled. However they wouldn’t accommodate at all. Lost $454 dollars because they refused to refund.

Pros - looked like the interior pictures. Cons - this is actually an apartment in a complex. The add says AC but in this unit you just have a vent and no control over the temperature. The worst part of the entire stay was the fact that it reeked of cigarette smoke inside. The management company did ZERO to help. I arrived at 7pm - called by 715pm to let them know and requested a move to a property literally next door for the same price. The response was I could book the other one but no refund would be issued as they needed to “confirm the smell”. They asked at 8pm if they could enter if I wasn’t there which I said yes to. After hours of waiting, calling, texting, they responded at MIDNIGHT saying they would send someone the next day. Next morning I asked for a manager to call me - 230pm they ask to enter - no response on what was found. They put an air purifier in my room but never followed up to say anything. Smell was horrendous - my clothes all travel items reek of smoke.
